DARING RESCUE MEME You're in a predicament. That predicament is either: you need to be rescued. Bad. Even if you're technically safe you need to get out of whatever situation you're in. And if you're not safe, well... it's just more important then, isn't it? Your other option of course is that you need to rescue someone. You have to find them, get them out, get them to where they really belong. Or you're like, picking them up from a bad date. WHATEVER. No matter the severity of the situation, be careful how you go about it, huh? We wouldn't want to have any accidents. • Top level your character. Include any details you might think are relevant. Or don't. As always, we're not the cops. • Reply to other people's top levels! • Have fun!

[ You might need rescuing from him or are maybe getting broken out of jail by him, but he does struggle to leave people in trouble if there's say, nature disaster or one of his own jobs goes wrong and endangers people. ]

[ Flint had been in and out of prison since he was a teenager. The only way someone does that with a rap sheet like his is break outs. So what so was different about a break in now and then? It was in fact quite liberating, to gaze upon the imposing stone walls of a prison from the outside and think about how they couldn't stop him.

In he could do quietly.

No one, not even black sights made to keep super crooks in place, kept their eyes out for dirt on the breeze. Wafting through the vents whilst spreading his consciousness through numerous spread thin strains that snaked here and there, no one noticed anything amiss. Hitting dead ends, changing directions, a network of silicone reaching searching fingers until one found the room with the prize at the bottom of the box.

The loud part was incoming.

A fistful's worth of sand dropped from the ceiling directly into Harley's cell. Seamlessly, the formless clump raised up into a miniature approximation of a human shape. He could have done detail but with his focus split it was easier to be a little Gumby-esque figure- that all the same spoke with the gruff, deep voice of a 6'1 street thug. ]

Doctor Quinzel, I presume?

[ He couldn't resist. Super heroes usually got to make all the jokes, but this was the closest thing to heroism he felt like doing at the minute. ]

[ Harley was too absorbed in her cheap paperback about seductive swashbucklers to notice the specks of dirt gathering in the corner of her little bird cage, so when the miniature golem spoke in a big boy voice she dropped the book and pulled her feet up like a mouse had ran across the floor. ]

Holy crap! I have got to get back on my meds.

[ She stepped off her cot carefully, slowly, and crept over for a closer examination. ]

My hallucinations are usually a lot less grainy.

[ Even as a tiny little fellow, Sandman's avatar has the body language of a giant. Hands on hips, legs spread. A classic power pose. ]

[ Toddling on stumpy little legs, Flint's hand morphed itself into a vague key shape whilst he held both arms up in the universal signal for 'upsies.' Someone had to get him to the lock after all. ]

[ She lifts him in cupped hands and holds him to the lock mechanism. She has no idea who he is or why someone is busting her out, but who is she to look a gift tiny sand person in the mouth? Or however that saying goes. ]

Just so's ya know, you really should give a girl more than ten seconds to get ready for a date. Not even enough time to touch up my lipstick.

Even since day one, Sandy has been one for wisecracks too. Shoving his body in the mechanism, it's a simple matter to shift himself to the exact shape necessary and then harden. The click of the lock and the 'thunk' of lights shutting off across a whole building are simultaneous. ]

Of the course, the fact a few mooks are running in already and he shifts himself into a serviceable stone bat just ensures a nice opening scene. ]

[ Harley comes out of the cell swinging and if some mooks get knocked around with the guards, well, it's a typical job hazard for hired muscle, and it's not like she knows any of them, and it's so hard to tell which side someone is one when everyone is bunched up in a good old fashioned brawl! ]
