[Wanda's occasional trips to the Sanctum Sanctorum, aided by a borrowed sling ring, aren't exactly a secret. The rest of the Avengers in exile have come to expect the regularity with which Wanda will pick up treats from a local shop and then disappear for days, sometimes even a full week.

He's supposed to be teaching her more her own magic, but along the way she's learned just as much about matters of the heart. Not that anyone else knows, of course. It would just cause problems, and to admit it to someone else feels like trying to lay a claim to Stephen that Wanda's not sure she entirely deserves. Whatever they have can't be anyone's definition of 'normal,' so it's likely best to just let it be.

She loves him. That will have to be enough.

Wanda finds Stephen in the library, leaving the box she'd brought on a table, and rushes into his arms.]

She's Finwe's rebel daughter, the one who followed her brothers across the Sea. Irime, she had been, Irien, the princess of the Noldor. But here she's Lalwen, although she doesn't much feel like laughing, most of the time. She lost that, on the ice. But she knows how to play the game, no matter how much she feels like screaming.

To the visiting Sindar she's polite, and pleasant, the perfect hostess. And after, she goes out to the training fields, and ties her hair up to fight.

Cirdan is more aware than others might be. He knows more than he hints, and suspects even more. He watches those coming and going in a fairly aloof manner, preferring action over speech. He might be a lord, and he certainly leads his people well. But they prefer the sea. He has a purpose, whether he likes it or not, and has had plenty of time to adjust to it and accept it.

He enjoys visitors, exchanging news and learning. He does the occasional travel, visiting others himself. But he does not like what he's learned has happened to the Noldor. Insanity. Madness. Still, he adheres to formality, deciding to avoid antagonizing those who he can see have already lost more than they'd thought.

This latest visit with the second son of Finwe has some of his people in slightly higher spirits, so he allows the party to stay- with the permission of their hosts. Perhaps by chance he notices when the daughter slips away to the training fields, and he manages to escape unnoticed himself.

He watches for a moment, then steps forward, heading for one of the training blades before placing himself opposite her in silent offer.

It was the simple things that brought joy to Nissa's world. The little moments of intimate touches and sweetly shared secrets, no distractions from the outside world, no worries or fears. Peaceful strolls, hand in hand with -her-, fingers intertwined, her touch always so pleasantly warm, even in the cold of winter.

She was sweet in her own way, bold and daring in a way that made me envious and yet filled me with admiration. People didn't understand her the way I did and it felt all the more special between us, as though what we shared was beyond anyone's comprehension. It was special and it was ours.

A personal slice of heaven.

Chandra can't help the way her heart flares up when she sees Nissa. Just setting eyes on her made her heart skip a beat, made her stomach twist in a silly, fluttering way. She squeezes the fingers tangled with her's, a grin flashing across her lips.

Her mind races with thoughts, wanting to ask again about what the other had planned for their stolen moment.
