The Third Sunday

The Midnight Texting Meme

It's the middle of the night and you're trying to catch some z's — or brooding alone in the alleys, as one does — when your phone dings and suddenly a stranger or a friend is texting you. What could they possibly want at this hour? Is it important? Stupid? Are they drunk or maybe just needy? Do they need help hiding a body??? Pick up your phone and find out!

Rules:

● Post with your character's name and canon on the subject line, indicate preferences as needed
● Tag others
● Have fun!

txt: So how did Clark really feel about the old switcheroo?
txt: Because let me tell you, our date gave me a lot of ideas for Halloween.
txt: And most of them involve teasing Bruce.

( she's mostly joking, of course; personally, she found the entire endearing, knowing bruce's fondness for clark. but a part of her also just wants to check in with lois. finding solidarity in another person who can relate to being the apple of the eyes of the men behind the masks and the costumes is... new. )

[ Hey, Lois is all about having someone who can relate to some of the Weirder things that comes along with this life. She's never been very good at making friends -- that comes with the territory of being moved around every 18 months courtesy of the United States Army -- and she's never minded that, but look, sometimes it'd be nice to vent to someone already clued into the whole My Husband Is Superman thing. ]

You know, that wasn't the first time Clark's played Batman for an evening. We were Batman AND Robin for Halloween a few years ago.
