the LAST MINUTES meme


Five minutes. That’s the time you have left before the world ends. No matter what you say, no matter what you do, it is of no consequences. Everything will be destroyed in five minutes and there is nothing you can do to prevent it. Why not take advantage of the situation and say what you have always wanted to say, do what you have always dreamt of?

 

• Post with your character. Write their name and serie in the title headline, along with your preferences.

• Respond to other peoples.

• Do you have something to ask them, love to confess, a crime to admit? Nothing matters any more, that’s the perfect moment to say it as you don’t have to fear the consequences. There is no RNG, just play anything you come up with.

• It’s been six minutes. The world still exists. You mean the world isn’t going to end after all? Oh that’s really too bad.

• Optionally play out whatever happens after your characters realize the world is not going to end, and they’ve done or said what they shouldn’t have.

All the same, he steps towards Britta and moves to hug her. A little awkwardly, of course.]

I suppose that is supposed to sound impressive. Or you want me to thank you for keeping me from boredom.

What I want to ask is: When, exactly, did you give up? The criminal class was pathetic by the end.

I gave up when you got boring.

[And suddenly all his grins are gone and he just looks like the most bored thing it is possible to be. He looks about sextillion times more bored than a human could possibly be.]

[his nose twitches just a little at the insinuation. Sherlock Holmes? BORING? He is insult!] I don't think I could be as boring as the criminals I followed.

Why should I? Everyone is doing something interesting at last, with the new situation of 'the world ending.' Even if it's fun for five minutes, it's worth it.

[She doesn't want to look up at it all. Instead she just rests her head against his chest and closes her eyes. Britta's okay with the world ending. She's a bit sad, and annoyed, at not accomplishing, not making her mark on the world, but she's content enough not to die bitter.

A small smile forms at his words.]
