Everybody knows that couple: those two people with eyes only for each other, willing to do anything for their partner to make their day, utterly smitten. Disgusting.

...except now you've found yourself in a relationship like that, no matter your suitability or probability of even ending up in one in the first place. Yes, I'm talking to innocent cuties and bloodthirsty villains, revenge-driven sociopaths, philandering playboys, vowed stoics and lone wolves, noble knights, basketcases, mercenaries, old folks, teenagers, and Big Dumb Heroes. Not to mention everybody in between.

You're shmoopy. In your own way, of course. Aside from possibly everything ever that's existed in the universe at any given point, what could go wrong?

4. family → you're visiting family! Maybe they find out about your relationship, maybe they already know, or however you want to play it out! Maybe you've got news you're starting a family by getting pregnant, adopting, or even getting a new pet.
5. acceptance → someone who disapproved of your relationship before suddenly approves. How's that feel to you and your lover?
6. surprise → you've planned a surprise! What is it?
7. date → first date, second date, hundredth date, etc. What are you doing for it?

[Why she has agreed to this, she hasn't the faintest--well, perhaps that is untrue. He is very handsome and very tall and was...middlingly polite. She braids her hair back and ponders her reflection a moment longer.

He may make this whole experience dreadful; already the Sylvan are not fond of her people. Admittedly they have a point, but it was getting taxing. The very last thing she needs is some handsome Sylvan asking about her cousins or making jokes; she will not tolerate someone else mocking her accent. If he mocks her accent she will simply return to her rooms and speak of him never again.

Who cares what he thinks? She checks the fall of her multicolored gown and adjusts the sleeves. His opinion of her is just as irrelevant as her cousins'. He's just a handsome boy.

A knock at her door startles her and she draws herself up.]

"Adar!" Little Celebrian crashed through the garden, breaking the morning peace and quiet. She was hopping from one foot to another, excited about something, her eyes sparkling with delight.

"Adar!" She cried out again, leaping up to give him a hug in greeting. It was difficult, considering she could not stay still at the moment.

"I have a surprise for you!"
