[ Sousuke thought, once, that nothing could top that first morning in their shared dorm. Rin waking him, being the first thing he saw through sleep-hazed eyes, already dressed and fussing at him for being lazy. No weirdness, no hesitation, as if the pause in their friendship never happened. That was all he wanted - to spend as many mornings (days, nights) with Rin as he could now, while he had the chance - and he was so grateful in that moment.

But, well.

He's never been more grateful for their shared dorm than right now.

A shirtless Rin in his lap, who abandoned the task of changing into bedclothes in favor of some heated kissing. Lips slick from attention, Sousuke is more than happy to oblige as long as Rin wants, open mouths messy and melded together.

The bottom bunk has seen its fair share of making out since their reignited friendship shifted into more, that's nothing very new. But they're reaching that point, the point where they either stop and cool off, or venture into more unexplored territory. Sousuke's getting hard, embarrassingly quick maybe; the reddened points on his neck where Rin's teeth have marked him are throbbing faintly and encouraging his arousal. Rin opts for a distraction tonight, which oddly enough involves the very thing he's been trying to avoid. Kissing his best friend. Somehow finding his way into his lap and marking up his neck. It's a start and if anything it does dull the annoying itch in his gums. Oh. And maybe it focuses that energy elsewhere. Lower, right between his legs and just barely hidden beneath the awkward folds in his sweatpants. Half hard, Rin's vaguely aware of Sousuke's similar state, but... it's not like they've explored beyond awareness.

So once the kiss breaks and he can finally gasp for air, Rin meets that gaze with one of his own, wavering slightly, a bit distracted, questioning. His own hands can't seem to find the right position to stay rested on Sousuke's shoulders.]

[he finally mutters after a beat. His voice doesn't quite sound like his own in his head.]

[ Oh, Sousuke knows this. But he doesn't mind. He spent so long just wanting to be beside Rin, now that he has that and even more than he hoped for, he can probably wait forever for anything else.

He'll allow himself his fantasies, of course. He's only human. He'll be thinking about how good Rin feels on his lap for weeks. But he never wants to rush him, rush anything. He's had what feels like his whole life to come to terms with the depth of his devotion to his childhood friend and he wants to make sure Rin has time to catch up, if he needs it. There's no hurry...even if he considers the upcoming end of this school year, the decisions they have to make going forward, his own completely open and thus somewhat terrifying future.....no, he's not going down that path right now, thanks.

He slides his hands up Rin's back, slowly, hoping to soothe away the question in his eyes, the nerves he can feel quivering beneath his skin. ]

[Part of him wishes Sousuke would rush instead of being careful, taking his time, being gentle. It's what he should do, in Rin's mind. After years of distance and stereo silence from across the sea, shouldn't he be a little more... demanding? He's thought about asking him, but at the same time he knows how strange it will sound, how weird it might feel, for his best friend to be selfish.

The touches provide the desired effect at least, calming him down enough for his hands to finally settle on Sousuke's shoulders. Seems like that won't last long though, since a beat later he visibly bristles at Sousuke's response.]

[ Sousuke could be demanding if he wanted to. He has it in him to be selfish, considering all he longed to ask of and ask from Rin...mostly while he was overseas...that was never asked. But he's fine with not asking, with just taking what Rin wants to give, following.

So when Rin says he does want more, even with the defensiveness that Sousuke didn't intend for him to feel, relief rushes through him alongside the excitement simmering beneath his skin. ]

[ The confirmation isn't necessary, not with the obvious, growing arousal in his pants. But he gives it anyway, before pressing in to kiss him again, a swipe of his tongue over Rin's lip, a kiss to his chin, his jaw. And then, perhaps emboldened by the taste of his neck, lets the tiniest bit of that dormant selfishness out. ]

I want everything with you, Rin. [ He knows they can't do it all in this one night, but. Just so there's no mistaking. Anything Rin wants to do, he's there, he's willing, he's aching with his desire. ]

Rin swallows thickly, one hand absently roaming up the back of his parther’s neck and into his hair where the short tufts tickle his palm. If he could sit here holding him it would be safe. Still... he wants to do more.]

[ The kisses are less of a plan, more of him acting on desire...and maybe trying not to say too much because, yeah. Yeah, he's eager as hell. The affection working to relax Rin a little more is a bonus. Sousuke wants him to be sure.

He nearly melts himself under the idle caresses to his neck and hair. Even if they never did anything more, Sousuke knows he could live with Rin's touches, simple and sweet attention he never expected to receive.

[ Sousuke lets Rin guide him away from the skin of his neck, easily coaxed into simply gazing up at him. The corner of his mouth curves faintly upward at the affectionate name-calling, the accusation he won't bother to deny. Of course he's always thinking of Rin. Here, all he wants to do is please him. He'll happily do whatever suggestion he gives.

But the one that he does -

His lips part beneath Rin's words in a silent, stunned breath while arousal slugs him hard in the gut. He wants to keep his cool as a gentle acquiescent lover, but he's quickly overwhelmed by how much he wants this, desire joining the adoration in his eyes.

Managing coherent sentences is difficult enough when he’s just sitting here.

Bright red and more eager than he’d like to admit from that approval, Rin swallows thickly as he slips a hand down Sousuke’s front, riding up a bit on his knees so he can palm between his legs with an experimental brush. Shit... he’s so hard.]
