(Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.) instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. these days, it seems like every time she sees him he's always in some sort of danger. there are other things that can give your life meaning, she'd told him. there are other ways to save lives. this isn't exactly what she'd meant. ]

[ it seems a little silly to say it, when he's been through so much, much more than she has. she still doesn't know exactly what happened but seeing him again, however briefly, to be able to hear his voice, steadier than it had ever been since even before the accident, and to see the panic in his eyes replaced with something calmer and more determined -- she knows that he'd found it. and that is enough. ]
