Everyone could use a good massage now and again right? Well it's time to let you characters lay back and relax-- or maybe treat someone else to a little skin therapy. ;) Break out the oils and scented candles, it's time for a good rub down.

How to play:
❧ POST with your character (list their name & canon in the subject if you please)
❧ Others can reply giving the massage or recieving it.
❧ Use RNG to pick from the numbers below, or pick your numbers, or make something up!

Type

001. Shoulder and Neck - the basic of the basic. Perhaps a strained shoulder, been sitting too long at their desk. Or maybe something even more strenuous. However, it's time to work out all those accumulated kinks.

002. Foot - It's time to give those yapping dogs a rest and treat them to a little TLC.

003. Hand - Hey don't forget about the hands, overworked constantly they could use a bit of a break.

004. Arm - Time to loosen up a bit and rub out those arm muscles.

005. Leg - Perhaps you're looking for something a bit more specific and intimate. Calve massage? Thigh? It's your choice.

006. Back - Considered a coup de grace of massage, the back massage, when done right, can bring extreme relief to those who receive it.

007. Scalp - Wanna feel those tingles down your spine? Maybe a little oil to help add health to the hair?

008. Full Body - Maybe it’s not just a specific area you want treated, but your entire body.

So, he's in the mood to spoil. Looking downright smug when he pulls out the wooden case and opens it for Jedao to see.

"Antivan body oils," he explains, gesturing to the bottles laid in velvet, "Gotta from Josie for running security on a trade route." And of course he has the audacity to wiggle his brows at Jedao, "How about it, Kadan?"

[ He had a half dozen things he remembers from childhood, in the streets of Serkonos. The smell of spices his mother used to oil into his and his sister's hair after they had finished throwing themselves into mountain streams and ocean tides to keep it soft. That when his sword training became too much, long after his sister had gone, she would press thumbs firm with years of work into his back where his muscles would tense with the work of being beaten by better men over and over again until he was good enough to stop it.

It was a lifetime ago, but he remembered it still. Something rosewater and cinnamon sweet. Something he idly looked for, so many years later, when Emily had begun her training, to help ease her own sore muscles. Something that, when Midnighter walked through his strange portals into the walls of the palace so newly restored with the last of the traitor's images cleared away. Spent the night, as he was often want to do. Told him of strange things that seemed like Void dreams than real but - Midnighter was real enough, warm enough, as he laid there next to him. Face down in the pillows, and the smile pulled quietly at the edge of Corvo's mouth. As much as he ever smiled.

True to both their paranoia, twitched out of sleep or otherwise, he makes his movements pointed. Letting Midnighter know when and where he was, that he was awake and not going very far. But that it was him with a faint hum of his voice before he reached into a side drawer, fishing out the bottle of ointment, still kept all these years later. A faint smell of home, a faint tinge of something shared in small spaces with those he trusted.

He rolled over when he'd coated his hands on it. Leaning to brush against Midnighter's shoulders. A warm hand on his back. A press of his mouth on his neck. Me, the murmur. Just keep laying there. The one after it, as he moves to smooth his fingers across his skin. Broad and tanned dark with the years of labour. Didn't bother to hide here, the mark stained into his left hand that was slightly cooler than the rest of him.

But not delicate hands. No, more like the hard work of his family in the lifetime before nobility and courtiers and silk. Still a solders grip, but that little bit lighter. ]

This is a weird massage room.

The furniture is pretty standard--massage table crafted from light wood, white towels, candles--but there are symbols painted on the walls. (If you're the sort to notice, they're sigils of mostly-Hebrew-and-Latin, all based on positivity, wishes, and protection.) A nice bouquet would be normal enough, but instead there are bundles of herbs. Even the candles seem awfully strategically placed.

The masseuse himself is a young man, very slim, with a tousle of dark hair. Maybe a friend tipped you off about him. Maybe this is your monthly appointment. Maybe you lost a bet. Either way, the alchemy of touch is a very special thing--almost magical, some might say.

Getting this massage could answer one of your prayers.

Though, far from the confident, elegant stride she imagined, she skulks about awkwardly in the halls of Chaldea with her basket of Amazoness.com ordered aids, moving from corner to corner or marching awkwardly, half pacing, deciding if she should say something else instead of what she'd planned, hhhhh.
