( gotham is not a city that thor likes. the contrast between dark and light is too stark in gotham, the rich too rich and the poor too poor. it reminds him, with everything that he knows now, of the flaws of asgard, of the faults of its past. that thought is bittersweet and he swallows it down.

gotham has one thing that thor likes very much. not a thing at all, really. gotham has a person thor likes. her body bears scars and her wit is sharp. there's a violence she carries with her, shrouded in shadow and darkness, that resonates with him. and so he is drawn to gotham time and again because he is drawn to her. to the noises she tries to swallow when he rubs his bears against the sensitive skin of her inner thigh, when he splays her legs apart and settles between them. )

[ If you asked Bryce if she ever expected to be regularly sleeping with a Norse God, she would've laughed and asked you if you were out of your mind. Yet here she is, heels of her feet digging into Thor's back and hips rising to press herself against him some more. [ How they fell into this is a little ridiculous and not exactly intentional. Bryce never wanted much to do with the Avengers, had her own business going on in Gotham and so when the whole team ... ~got together~ as it were, she remembers keeping to the sidelines while Tony and Steve did their whole thing. Thor drifted her way as well and while she tried very hard to brush him off and keep her distance, she kept engaging back despite herself. They bonded in the end, similar approaches to fighting and protecting and helping the innocent. Even if Thor is a little more smiley about it.

That isn't to say they jumped right into sex, no. But just... spending all that time together... one thing led to another and now whenever Thor ends up on Earth, he also ends up in her bed. Damnit. This is one of those times. ]
