...They are. They're trying so hard, but this guy, dude, person? They're so sneaky and always seem to be one step ahead of the cops.

[Better not bring the whole "investigating the murders inside the TV" thing. That might not sound really smart, even if it's true.]

We've kind of narrowed down one or two possible people and helped friends who were kidnapped, but they can't remember who took them.

Gracious... Well, the only thing to help it is pure, deductive reasoning. If you don't have enough evidence, you have to find more. I'm afraid that's really the only advice I have without being privy to the finer points of the case. And I'm not sure I'm up for such excitement!
