The hilt of a sword was just visible over one shoulder, and her booted beet carried her with the confidence of one who'd traveled long and far enough--and lived through enough battle--not to let her guard down, lest weariness be mistaken for weakness.

Her name was Theresa Rubel, but no one ever called her that. They called her Trouble, and she'd come to Zadash chasing rumors of a washed-up sailor with green skin and filed-down tusks. In Prompto's opinion, he was far too old to be connected to someone in familial ties, which spoke a lot about the family he had grown up with, but it wasn't like he had them any longer, but he also hadn't told anyone that.

This wasn't like a real family though, was it? Just because his apartment building had a fire and he needed a place to crash and because he wasn't officially a Crownsguard yet, Noct's was ruled out because of sensitive material, he accepted an unexpected offer.

He wasn't too sure what to think about the arrangement yet, after all, those kinds of thoughts were fantasies anyway.
