Does anybody have any good ideas?

We should have some variety, some cute halloween memes and some horror ones.

Everyone turns into various Halloween staple monsters! Zombies, ghosts, ~~zombie goasts~~ werewolves, vampires, and so on and so forth.

Or a simple "welcome to this nice party we threw except whoops your costume is suddenly real" type thing.

idk, cliche maybe but that's what I'd like to see. There's lots of other possibilities too...

Trapped in a haunted whatever meme, zombie apocalypse meme, cursed candy meme, invasion of the creepy-ass alternate dimension meme, trapped in a nightmare meme, take your pick. I'm in it for the body horror, but that's just me.

Horror movie meme!

Actual trick-or-treating on the street, and visiting graveyards and stuff!! Or... drawing dicks with silly string on walls and TPing people's yards, if that's more preferrable.

I'd love to see a haunted house meme, personally!

I want a everybody tags everybody meme that actually works the way it's supposed to.

noob question, but what's the difference between a verse and a PSL?

Nothing, really. It's just terminology, but they're basically the same concept. PSL is a private story line between two or more players and not open for application like a game. A verse is generally a private plotline, and a single character journal can have multiple verses. So yes, basically the same concept, just whatever terminology you prefer.

What's it going to take for a dressing room to not die.

More people willing to post in them and utilize them. Until people do, there is only so much DR mods can do. If you post to places like SWS or dear_mun, try cross-posting at the same time to DRs you want active to get some activity going on them.

I'm not saying it should be mandatory, but it would be nice if people made a practice of tagging other people rather than just dropping their character in with name and canon and not trying to reach out to anyone else. My personal policy is to do at least one tag per two or three 'drops', just to be a contributor. It seems the best way to get things started.

I tend to drop in characters more than tag others because I'm kind of shy and nervous that I'll be bothering them. I know, I know, the whole point of being there is they want to play with people, but now I'm giving them an obligation to tag back, and what if my char isn't what they want?

Well, there's no real way to know unless nobody's tagging the meme at all except for the drop-ins. I may drop in The Trix Rabbit and Tony The Tiger, but then see Count Chockula has an open tag and break out my Boo-Berry account to tag him with. I've tagged in and tagged out, but you can't put that together unless you know all my accounts.

...which is frequently what happens with me. I tag in a couple, see somebody I want to tag, and pop over to a different account to tag with.

It would be nice if people actually replied to their damn tags. I have seen numerous counts of a character getting tags, and they never get replied to... Yet the original poster keeps dumping the character in to meme after meme. (And by that I mean the same journal, not the same character played by different people.)

REPLY TO YOUR TAGS PEOPLE There is no excuse for you to post a character and then ignore everyone who tags them while you keep tossing them at every meme. People have been given tags, and getting no reply, yet you will see the same character(journal) posted day after day, meme after meme... It takes two to play you know.

Have the courtesy to at least post a small ooc note if you aren't interested, or here, have a novel idea, don't just put OTA in the subject line...Actually put your preferences in the comment instead of leaving it blank. Some tags have been sitting for ages... I can understand a dropped thread due to voice block, a RL issue or such, but really... just ignoring every tag is a rude thing to do. Why the hell are you even posting when you do that?

Oh, and to the people who do this and are now whining "But nobody tags me, or tags me back when I reply to theirs." Uh of course nobody is going to want to tag you when you do that. You can't be bothered to reply to your own threads, why should they waste their time? You think they really want to spend time writing up something that's just going to sit forever without a reply? I know I don't.
