[Rich doesn't really do parties anymore. The last one he recalls was enough excitement to last him his whole lifetime, and probably well into some afterlife. Do they have ragers in heaven? Is he even going to heaven? They most definitely have killer parties in hell... Shit, now is not the time to be asking existential questions.

Because, well, he is at a party. It's not ideal, but Jake needed a DD, and even if Rich doesn't do parties, he certainly does friendship. And well... it is his first year of college. He can do at least one of these. Just to say he had the full college experience.

Even if the full college experience kind of sucks dick.

Rich sips at lukewarm punch, grumbling about the music taste for about the hundredth time that night, even if he is still tapping his foot and drumming his fingers against the kitchen counter. He doesn't care how catchy it is, Taylor Swift still... he needs a better insult than 'sucks dick'. Even if it's true for everything at this party.

Including that girl who just walked by. But like. In a way better way.

She's gorgeous, honestly. Cute and curvy in all the right places, with just the brightest ginger hair, and Rich is kind of jealous because his red streak fades within a couple weeks lately. Her melodious little laugh cuts through the garbage music and he swears the angels in that party-trashed heaven couldn't make a better song than that giggle. And her eyes...

Oh, shit. Speaking of eyes, he is staring. So hard. Rich forces himself to tear his gaze away, start searching the swarm of people for Jake.

When his eyes fall back on her - purely as part of the searching process - she's looking back at him. Rich nearly chokes on his drink, but tries to look casual as he... wanders over in her direction. Still. Purely just looking for Jake.]
