Melodramatic love. This is very important and you know you're rushing things a little but this love was meant to be!! Your love life is suddenly a Shakespearean tragedy, complete with dramatic plot twists and turns, and you need to confess your love to the world before it's too late! There's no time to lose; in the morning, you're going to be exiled, your love is going to be hanged, your mother will be shot, your father will become a pirate and someone will kick your puppy!! For bonus points, speak in terrible, hilarious, terrible prose.

Possessive & Manipulative love. You want this person, need them, want to own them -- but things don't seem to be going as planned. They keep looking at other people and talking to other people... it doesn't matter if they feel the same way, you'll force them into doing what you want them to do. You'll manipulate the situation. You'll manipulate their feelings until they are utterly yours, and can no longer deny that they belong to you. Cold and calculating, you'll get what you want.

"Well," Jan said with a soft smile as he brushed plaster off of his shoulder. "That was fun."

What was supposed to be a quiet night between the two of them had, of course, turned into fighting criminals. This time it had been a bank robber next to the little bistro that was Jan's favorite in Metropolis.

And since they were on the scene already, he and Shiro had decided to help out the Science Police take down the Krolotean robbers. Between his powers and Shiro's combat prowess they had taken down the Kroloteans and had them trussed up in time for the SP officers to arrive and take into custody.

It had been a little over a month since Shiro and his group had entered their universe. Being no strangers to interdimensional issues, the Legion had been quick to offer aid to the Paladins of Voltron, and the Paladins had been willing to help them protect the United Planets while Brainiac 5 worked on a way to get them home.

"Shall we continue our dinner then?" he asked.

Shiro might only be here for a short time, but Jan found himself wanting to spend a good deal of it with him despite that.

"I think that's a good idea." Shiro dusted the plaster off his shirt.

Of all the worlds to get stuck on, Shiro was glad they'd gotten stuck on this one. For starters, the local superheroes were friendly and had the technology to assist them. If Voltron could help them protect their own universe, all the better. Even if they had to get back to their own universe at some point, it was their duty as Paladins to offer aid.

Second of all, Shiro had come to like Jen, and enjoyed spending time with him.

Jan reached out and brushed some of the plaster off of Shiro's shoulder.

"Shall we then?"

Jan turned and began to walk out of the bank, waving to a few Science Police officers he knew.

And of course, some gawkers. Jan did his best to ignore them.

They crossed the street and back to the table at the cafe they had just left. The server had left them their drinks and a little note saying 'Dinner's on us! =)'

Jan shook his head, blond curls bouncing a bit as he sat back down. "I wish I could say this wasn't a common occurrence," he said.

Shiro hadn't worn his Paladin armor, since he hadn't expected to fight crime tonight. Thankfully, the robbers hadn't been too tough, and Shiro had easily been able to fight them with Jan.

Once they were back at the restaurant, Shiro read the note and gave an amused smile.

"Trust me, we've dealt with worse," He replied, sipping his drink.
