Most societies have certain mores that are unspoken rules; humanity itself even has such conventions, grilled subconsciously into our minds for our own safety. Don't go out alone at night. Avoid getting wet when it's cold. Don't pick fights with those stronger than you...okay, some of us missed the boat on the last one, but the point still stands. Society's rules tend to be more variable, though they apply to most aspects of life - including sex. In fact, bending the rules on what's considered acceptable in romance and sexual encounters can lead to anything from ostracization to death, depending on the time and culture.

So, play it close to the chest if you're going to do a big, big, big t a b o o. Is it worth the risk?

(Not into incest, stockholm, noncon, or degradation here. Interspecies yes, straight-up bestiality no but fellow shapeshifters negotiable. Cool with her witchiness being a built-in taboo. She can be early-to-mid 20s or 30s but she's probably the younger one if there's a big age difference. 100% up for the kind of sexual urgency that overrules good sense when she may not have access to her usual methods of birth control; also fine with her actually being pregnant. More into semi-public/risk of discovery than straight-up public sex but all for "forbidden" dynamics like nobility/religious figures and sex in nappropriate/holy places: altars, throne rooms, balconies, war tables, etc.

[Shapeshifters with pre-smut plotty buildup, you say.

Salmacis shapeshifts (including swapping sex, so whatever configuration you'd like is cool), can temporarily change others, and creates hallucinations. Perhaps sex in a public area where Salmacis is preventing the people around them from perceiving them, but they can see people wandering around and talking about how their horses are doing?]

Outside the church, the city had been taken. The army of the enemy, led by General Valter the Moonstone, forced Yumie's side into retreat and were beginning to sack the city, taking prisoners, executing fleeing soldiers, looting and raping. Valter himself was moving through the center of the city while his army spread out through the streets on either side of him. Spying the church, he decided there would be no better humiliation for the enemy than to have their nuns taken for pleasure slaves.

It's a desire to collect victims to his spear that motivates him to be on the front lines. There is no fear in him as he enters the church after having his wyvern break through the front doors.
