[ Prompto wouldn't be winning any awards any time soon for cooking. He couldn't cook to save his life but he was determined to cook a meal for date night with Snake. He had called Clover to get access to her and Snake's place while Snake was out and he had begged Ignis to help him.

Meal in the oven, all the pots and pans cleaned and Ignis out of the way; Prompto waited patiently for Snake to get home. He decided to get some much needed snuggle time in with the kittens while he waited. They had grown so much since the last time he had visited. ]

[Snake had made his way from his job at the university via the bus. Lestallum's streets were windy at best, but he'd memorized the twists and turns from the road to the back alleys to his apartment.

Things were improving as he was able to play the harp more at a cafe and the Hunters had been looking after him and Clover. He wasn't sure if Prompto or his friends said anything or if the Hunters decided to extend their protection to him because they enjoyed his music so much.

Clover had gotten a job at the power plant and would hopefully move up from an apprentice with enough time and skill. Between the two of them, they were making things work in their apartment. He knew his sister was out with friends this evening, so Snake wondered what he'd make for himself tonight.

At least he could snuggle the kittens, he thought, as he opened the door to his apartment.]

I figured I'd give this whole domestic thing a try and cook you a romantic meal so I cooked us lasagne for first and elegant orange cake for dessert.

Plus! I wanted to keep you all to myself tonight and didn't want to share you with anyone - not even the restaurant staff.
