Even as insular as the Six were, sometimes they needed time apart, and with Hollis and Odile on the outs (again) and the girls being decidedly unsympathetic about it to both of them, 'apart' had led Hollis to the kitchens to drown his sorrows in ice cream, which had led to running into Jake, which in turn had, somehow, led to where they were now.

Not that Hollis was complaining.

He was, however, muffling himself against Jake's shoulder, practically clinging to him with one arm -and both legs around his waist- while the other hand was braced against the wall above his head, mostly just to keep himself from falling out of the alcove he was wedged into.

"Jesus, Jake, fuck, again. Do that again." He was muffling himself, yes, but clearly not very well.
