This fight is awkward enough - problem isn't how fast the older double is, or the number of enemies... he just doesn't know where it's safe to aim and not risk hitting Cloud - without things like this.

And it's not like he's carrying a lot of healing items either. So he'll just... dodge a fireball aimed his way and run across the distance separating them.

And kick the other in the leg. Sometimes that does work for this effect, after all!]
