Things had been a little bit hectic for a while. Between the attacks, the kidnapping and daywalker incidents, the normally so laid-back Favalli household had been in a bit of a flurry. Eventually Butler and Mari managed to bring a semblance of normality back. The Florentine tyrant went back to his routine of pretending not to work and working hard at appearing to be playing all the time whilst he was waging war on a battlefield of numbers against a certain councillor.
Busy? Definitely, just as Alessandro liked it.
Busy as he may have been, however, he still noticed the absence of the young master of the household which in itself wasn't anything unusual. What made it mildly suspicious was that every time West was absent, Alessandro's two favourite thugs were nowhere to be found, either.
Curioser and curioser.
It was nearly dawn when he heard the front door. Sprawled out on the large couch, one leg dangling over an armrest, he didn't even look up from the documents in his lap, when he carelessly threw into the room in a casual sing-song, "You've done something bad. I can tell."
