most of the things I considered fun don't exist anymore. I asked Steve and he gave me a list of things to look up. It wasn't helpful.

Okay. What's a guy do for a good time around now? Dance halls are gone and Coney Island isn't what it used to be.

Well, there's skiing, surfing, rock climbing, skateboarding, um...

There are also movies, theater, concerts, clubbing (sort of like a dance hall, just ten times louder, darker, and usually littered with drugs and alcohol, so...)

Not surprising you'd dislike the club scene. I'm not overly fond of it myself. But as for dating, a lot of people do. It's safer that way, I suppose. Relatively speaking.
