It's February March, which is after February, the month of Valentine's Day - the month of love! And love oftentimes means softness, kindness, and attention to the one you care for. Loving sex is no exception. We have a lot of "fucking" memes here: mid-fuck, pre-fuck, post-fuck, so on and so forth. We don't, however, have a lot of making love memes. And basically all of this has been an awkward segway into a gentle smut meme! No fucking here, just tender touching and lots of care. "But my character is a huge jerk and/or has the emotional range of a braindead pet rock and/or only fucks like an animal in the sack," I hear you scream from the streets. [This was their first night sleeping in a bed together, so she was fully aware what that might mean. After all it was Howl who loved her and showed her just how beautiful she was. So after Howl remodeled the home and made a single bed in a room for them, she fully knew what that means. She wasn't naive and they were a couple. It was only natural to share a bed with him and do other things. However, that didn't mean she wasn't nervous.

Once she finishes her shower she goes to their bedroom in a night gown and sits on the bed. It was big and soft, she couldn't stop herself from chuckling it was just what Howl likes. Rubbing at the fabric she eventually flops onto her back and looks at the ceiling, curious when he might come to the room.]

[ Rey hates when she and Ben are forced apart by necessity. They'd spent too long separated because of the war, when they had finally come to a middle and united under the Resistance banner she had foolishly thought that would mean that they'd never be apart again. Unfortunately, not every mission called for two Force users, and some called for Ben's unique understanding of First Order tactics but not her own more blunt way of dealing with things. Sometimes that meant that she would be sitting on her hands, listening to the Force and waiting for him to return. Other times she had her own things to do, and the ache in her chest wasn't so easy to focus on.

Unfortunately this last time had been the former. Their bond soothed lonely nights in some ways, but made them worse in others. She could touch him, but only for a little while, and never in the ways she wanted to. She would send him her thoughts and images and get them in return, but all it would do would make the gnawing ache widen, threaten to consume her from within.

When he finally returned, tired and worn but whole and himself she'd had to restrain herself from throwing herself at him in the hangar of the Resistance spaceport. She'd behaved herself beyond attaching herself to him and not letting his hand go for anything, even when he fell asleep curled up with her in their bed that had seemed far too big without him in it.

She let him sleep as long as she could stand it, but as the morning sun streamed in through the window she let her hands wander the planes of his chest, tracing lines she knew by heart and pressing gently into his sleeping mind, seeing if she can draw him out of sleep so she can show him properly how much she missed him. ]
