[Which still doesn't quite explain why they're here, doing this, but perhaps they don't need a better reason than that they both have a bit of downtime and they've both been so busy doing things that this will make for some sort of change, some way to relish the instant.

[No, it doesn't, but perhaps there are some times in which you just need a bit of fun, silly nothing and a few too many drinks at the bar between worlds.

Toby pushes her hair back and answers Buffy's bubbling laugh with a slow grin of her own, leaning in curiously.]

[Buffy's eyes flit to Toby's for a moment, and she leans in a little as well.]

I'm sure that I could think of a number of stories to write and share with you. Or about you, if that would more be your preference.

Can't say I'm much of one for stories, but hey. There's always room for... trying something new, I guess.

I've always been more for storms than princesses, personally. Full of sound and fury... and all that.

It does sound particularly delightful, doesn't it? In a storybook sort of way. Not the kind of thing I personally like to find myself caught out in without an umbrella.
