Loki slips away from Thor on the crowded streets of New York, assuming the appearance of a passerby. Heading to the location Barnes gave him, he shifts into himself, though wearing Midgardian clothing, when he spots the mercenary.
"Barnes." He wrinkles his nose slightly in distaste at the vehicle Barnes is straddling. "It smells."

And Loki? His arrival is met with a smirk and a laugh. “Everything in New York smells. Get on, we’re only heading out of the city.”

"And where are we going, exactly?" he calls over the noise of the engine.

“For right now? We’re just hopping south into Jersey. Then we fly out of here.”

Bucky tosses a look over his shoulder before turning his eyes and attention back to the road. "Why do you care?"

He shrugged, still focused on the road in front of them. "Thor's your brother, and you could've told him where I was going to meet you. As far as I know, I'm still at the top of Stark's list."

Loki watched the cityscape around them change as they passed.

Fortunately weekend traffic isn’t as bad as it could be, and the ride is relatively short, for its distance. It’s not far over the state line that Bucky turns off onto a cut labeled as a scenic overlook. And the view from the top is pretty, overlooking trees and river with the city in the distance and surrounded by enough forest to be useful. But it’s not what interests him. Gliding the bike into a parking spot, he rolls his shoulders and looks over the left one at Loki. “We’ve got about a mile to hike, but our next ride’s probably a little more to your liking.”
Wakandan aircraft are in a class of their own after all and a good relationship with the princess had gained Bucky a few favors.

Slightly curt, perhaps, but the man claims to have no angle and Loki dislikes owing debts, though he rarely feels bad about failing to pay them.
He climbs off the vehicle and glances around. This planet has a lot of cliffs, he notes. He stood at the edge of a very different one last time he was here.
He turns away from the view and looks at Barnes.
"Which way?"

It’s through the trees; there’s no marked trail but Bucky had spent enough of his army days crawling through European forests with no map and is clearly still comfortable in so doing. He glances over at Loki as they hike, trying to figure out the whole story there. He only knows Thor by way of Steve, and that’s simply not enough to go on.
“So here you are on Earth. Now what?” There’s curiosity in his voice, as well as an undercurrent of caution.

"To most people, all I am, all I'll ever be, is a HYDRA assassin. Nothing I do is going to change that opinion any time soon."

The aircraft is just ahead, all sleek smooth lines and curves; Wakanda is miles beyond anyone else in technology. Only Stark even comes close and Bucky doesn’t exactly try to think about Stark often. It’s a small craft, big enough for two to be comfortable but clearly meant for speed and stealth in transport. “Besides, as long as HYDRA still exists, I have work to do eliminating them.”

"HYDRA?"
He's never heard of it, but he didn't exactly spend any of his time on Earth building alliances.
He'd intended to rule them all.

“Which I guess brings us right back around to the question of what you intend to do now.”
