It started out quietly, and then, quite suddenly, you're caught in a storm. Time to find cover. Nothing much to do but to wait it out.

i WHERE:
001 PLAYGROUND - Well, you can try to hide under the slide or maybe in the jungle gym... at least you're some place fun?
002 PARK - Always happens, caught outside trying to take advantage of the weather... and it ends up pulling a fast one on you.
003 STORE FRONT - Better hope they have an awning you can take advantage of.
004 THE BEACH - Not exactly the best place to be during a rainstorm, however it is possible to get caught in a sudden storm.
005 WILD CARD - Anyway you want it.


ii HOW:
001 TREE - Not the best cover, but it'll have to do, stay close to the roots and you won't get too wet.
002 UMBRELLA - Most conventional... Kinda boring. But it works.
003 NEWSPAPER - Not permanent, but it'll have to do. Good luck.
004 BAG - Well... y'gotta do what you gotta do.
005 NONE - You know what. You're a rebel. You don't need cover. Screw convention.

[Rain is not that uncommon in Auguste, but sometimes Lyria asks for a detour. Just in case a certain water primal is doing okay, especially when it's on the heavy side of things. No flooding or wind, but the rain is shifting from light to heavy in odd patterns.

Meanwhile a certain captain got to help Rackam make sure no leaks or cracks in the airship and Katalina is helping hold the fort down so... Come on, Sandalphon. It's bonding time by exploring floating bodies of water in the sky and visiting a big water snake during the rain.]

Mm... We're here!

[Lyria holds her hands out, light briefly surrounding her as she attempts to contact the primal of the island. Seconds later, a small rumble and the water in front of them ripples as it emerges from it's depths. It stares before approaching the duo, moving it's face in front of Lyria's own.]

Leviathan! [Lyria's smile is bright as she reaches out to pet the big beast with both of her hands.] Are you feeling okay? That's good! We came to visit during a storm so I wanted to make sure nothing is wrong.

[She looks over to Sandalphon, motioning him to come closer.]

[Being stranded in another world is annoying and inconvenient. But at this point? She's getting used to it.

Being stranded in the nook of a building in the rain? That's just terrible and defies any limits of reasonable acceptability. Which is why she's scooted as far back as she can, glaring at the offending wetness, and hisses at it intermittently.

It doesn't help that she's gotten stuck here in cat form and thus misses every semblance of clothes, gear, or anything, really.

And there isn't even anyone out there who might take pity on her and invite her into a warm, dry place, preferably with something to eat... wait. There's someone walking by.

She meows, hoping that she can be loud enough to be heard over the rain, and the person will react favourably to a poor, black kitten stranded in the rain, look how adorable and suffering she is.]

[Being captured isn't the worst part. It's that she's being paraded around this god forsaken marketplace while her bounty hunter goes wherever it is he's going.

The second worst part: it's raining. Not the heavy kind that can be somewhat pleasant to be in but the drizzling barely there kind that only feels like sweat trickling down her neck, if Asgardians even sweat.]

[...and the thing with airships is that they require various things to continue running, such as fuel, and food for the people on board, and supplies to repair it so it doesn't snap in half and crash, and so forth, and so on. And in that way the Grandcypher was a great equalizer. It didn't matter if you were a king, or a god, or a dragon, or a human, or something else: sooner or later you'd have to pitch in to not die.

They were no exception. And the island had a bunch of darkness-aligned foes, which meant that of course they'd be asked to stand in. And the Singularity had said just five minutes. They'd be gone for just five minutes. They had to pick up something from Rackham that they forgot. Then after that the group of them could head off, do what they came here to do, and it sounded so simple.

But, Sandalphon reflected as they stood under the large oak(ish) tree as the rain came down, sometimes things weren't that simple. Sometimes five minutes became fifteen minutes because unbeknownst to the two of them some flooding happened and they'd be waiting for a very long time.]

[ Sometimes it's surprising how easy it is to spot a familiar face in the middle of a crowd. That said, the station is packed, all due to the rain pouring outside. There are people complaining about forgetting their umbrellas or losing them, but Akechi is the type to always make sure to have it on him even on sunny days.

It takes him a while to get through the crowd, but he finally approaches Haru, flashing her a smile. ]
