  The Cheer Up Meme!

Your character is having a bad day (or week, or month, or year, or life). They're in a funk and it's obvious to anyone that comes across them. What's there to do? Why, cheer them up, of course! 

Does your character welcome it? Do they know this strange benefactor trying to make them feel better? Will their efforts work? No matter:

It's time to turn that frown upside down. 

How this works:
→ Leave a comment with the usual information in the subject line: character name, fandom. Any preferences, including what you don't want, should be included as well. For added effect, use their woobie/sadclown/depressed/h+c icons.
→ Congratulations, your character is being cheered up by whoever tags them!
→ Tag around. Please please tag around.
→ Feel free to roll RNG (1-9) if you cannot come up with "methods" of your own.

[Wagashi made by his mother, green tea, cutlery... Tatsuya wasn’t exactly the most intuitive in understanding people’s feelings, but cheering up someone seemed pretty easy. Hopefully Shigure would accept this attempt at helping him out, but there’s still that dreaded feeling of rejection in Tatsuya’s gut.]

[One thing about T'Challa bringing Erik to Shuri to save him is that she has time to get to know her cousin. He's on her medical table for days, and she learns a lot from him in the blissful silence that lapses between them. She learns that they share some similar features, and that he's as strong as her brother. When he finally comes to, she learns that he's a lot more sullen and antagonistic than she likes dealing with.

When she comes back from market with a container of fresh baked sweets and sees him sulking while poking around her lab, she rolls her eyes and figures she might as well try and cheer him up. It's not like anyone else here is capable of it.

She speaks up to get his attention, but her mouth is a little full with her cakes. That won't stop her from bitching at him, even if she doesn't actually mean it.]

What did I tell you about being in my lab alone? You might break something. [The box of cakes is flaunted in front of him but not offered.] Then I will have to break you.

[ Although Fury is pretty guarded with his group of young Avengers at the academy, working with Xavier and his team has been something that has become a sort of reoccurrence at this point. Which Tony doesn't mind; there are pretty boys and girls he gets to meet, people he can become friends with, and well, mutants are pretty damn awesome as far as he's concerned. Yes he's interested in them from a scientific perspective - his mind is too curious not to be - but he respects them and has liked working with them enough that he had offered to teach robotics classes to some of the younger students at Xavier's for a few days in the month.

It's because of that that he's here today. Technically he could have (and maybe should have) gone back to the academy after his last class, but he had opted to stay in one of the guest rooms. Which wouldn't be so bad, if he could actually sleep. But he can't - his mind is racing, he's too restless, and so instead he makes his way down to the kitchen with his backpack. Once he's settled, he hooks up some cables into the ports of his red prosthetic arm, and as data starts loading on the screen, he digs out a bottle of scotch from his bag. Not the most professional or even responsible thing to do, but it's the middle of the night. No one would know.

...or so he had hoped. Just as he's pouring himself a glass, he hears footsteps walking into the kitchen and Tony looks up just in time to see a familiar scowl being sent his way. ]

...don't worry, I'll share. Just grab a glass. [ He smiles, oh so charming, even if he doubts it'll work on the guy. ] can't sleep either?
