defrosting. On occasion, the fun in playing a romantic relationship is not actually playing the relationship proper, but the build up. The characters grow closer, frozen hearts can thaw, emotional barriers may fall, and insight is gained, both about self and potential partners... ...plus, it can be entertaining as all heck to play either a. awkward dancing around the subject, if your character is that type, or b. embracing all that warming up. A little of column A, a little of column B may scratch an itch you never knew you had. Play one little vignette in time. You may find yourself craving some more. Comment with your character, preferences, info, etc. Reply to others & thread it alll out. Have fun, guys!

{ Open to ship of the friend or romantic variety. (*m/m for ship, in that case.) Ambrose here could have some personal/emotional hurdles to clear after having been dragged into some dumb shit thanks to his dumb sire, who had already made Am feel a bit snubbed after turning him then revealing he wasn't his Special Chosen new vampire fledging, but rather one of now four, with the three others having more seniority and knowledge over him. Oh and his sire's personal drama aforementioned puts Ambrose buried underground due to guilty by association and lies there for like 180 years alone. Aaawkward.

But Ambrose is a genuinely feelsy guy, and cares very deeply when he does at all. Feeding is very intimate for him and can be an emotional and empathetic journey that is exhausting for him to do with strangers, but with someone he knows is a lot easier for him. [ Isabelle is a passionate woman who cares fiercely and quickly, but she sees vulnerability as a weakness which could certainly put some obstacles in the way of a developing romance. Still, there is lots of light and warmth in her as well, and she could certainly be capable of melting a few frosty hearts.

There's also the matter of her culture being really gross about not approving of relationships that are with people other than fellow Shadowhunters, even if she herself doesn't have that shitty attitude. ]
