[ Nothing like unexpected guests after an expected trip. Well, a guest. Her townhouse has enough room for a few of those. She grabs a couple of blankets from the ground floor closet and heads back into the living room. ]
Here are some blankets. The sofa pulls out into a bed, or you can sleep as-is. Or you can use the guest room. Whichever is more comfortable.

It's an old, dumpy couch, bought years ago, but surely more comfortable than a park bench or the floor in some rundown building. Not that she makes a habit of sleeping in either location. Not that he's said for sure he's done that either. Only she's seen plenty of homeless vets with the same kind of expression. Usually in parks or crowded shelters or other, less nice places.
