Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... [ They've just had a fierce battle with this war's Saber and gotten out of there undefeated and alive. Rin has a few scrapes to show for her well-earned victory, while Achilles is unscathed. On the way home, he boasted about his prowess and how she was lucky to have summoned him instead of the Saber.

Upon coming back to her estate, Rin announces that she wants to take a bath and go to bed. Achilles follows her up to the doorway, moving to sit against the wall adjacent from the bathroom door.

He waits patiently, up until he hears her complaining and whining in pain. Maybe she's more hurt than she'd let on. He decides to phase through the solid door, feet landing on the tiled floor as he materializes. He doesn't really care about nudity and has seen all sorts of bodies in his previous lifetime. It's a Greek thing. ]

Tim is supposed to report up to Jack whatever he gets back onto Helios from Pandora. He knows that Jack keeps tabs on whatever he's doing, so it's probably not even really necessary for him to give an in-person debrief, but he seems to prefer it? He likes the gory details, anyway. And Jack will get whatever Jack wants, regardless of whether or not it makes a whole lot of sense to Tim.

It seems strange, though, that Jack pulled him out of Opportunity so urgently. No explanation given, just come back to Helios immediately, Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200. Sure, he knows that things are... less than ideal with all those vault hunters running around and messing things up, and there was everything that happened with Nisha and Wilhelm, but...

Jack has his reasons. Tim's not supposed to ask questions.

He has access to Jack's penthouse on the station-- same biometrics-- and that's where he heads right after he finds the chief executive office empty. Tim had considered getting cleaned up before he actually went to see his boss; it had gotten kind of hairy when he'd been leaving Opportunity himself. The vault hunters had been coming in when he'd been leaving, and things were touch and go for a while and there's blood on his clothes that isn't all his. Jack probably won't mind much? Tim's a little too tired to care.

Jack's apartments are quiet when he enters. Tim wanders a little; he doesn't come up here often.

"...Jack? Uh, sir?" he calls out into the empty rooms. "Are you here? If I walked all the way up here for no reason..."
