She shouldn’t be doing this. It was her job as Captain of the Guard to protect her people, to keep them safe and to ensure their borders were secure. She couldn’t afford distractions and improprieties and certainly not ones like this! And yet here she was, sneaking out, using all of her knowledge of the patrols and the surrounding area to escape notice and for. What... a tryst? A bit of fun?

More like an addiction. Because she couldn’t stop, didn’t want to stop. Every time Tauriel caught her eye the other woman gave her a look that made her knees weak and a heat pool low in her that drove her wild. Wild enough to sneak around to try and find her lover despite the risks.

And a part of her loved it and wanted as much of this as she could get.
