The choice is up to you. Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket. A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation! Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

[ The frozen world of Polus wouldn't have been Rey's first choice for any kind of living. Of course, she comes from a desert planet that the people of Polus would likely say the same of. Either way, there was a former Resistance presence on Polus, and Rey along with a small contingent of other Resistance fighters had been sent to collect an pertinent data from the remote base.

They hadn't counted on the First Order arriving while they were clearing the base out. The only advance warning they had being Rey's connection to Kylo Ren, strong as ever, alerting her to his sudden presence in the system.

Trying to draw them off of the others Rey runs for one of the communications outbuildings that is some distance away from the main base. It's freezing and one of the ice storms the planet is well-known for is whipping itself into a frenzy as she feels Kylo Ren's presence closing in on her. She makes it to the building just before the snow and sleet blow so fiercely that even ships equipped with thermal imaging would have trouble seeing through the storm.

She notes that the lights are out and the temperature in the building is only slightly warmer than it is outside, but she doesn't dwell on it, moving to try and hide herself before the stormtroopers that Kylo likely has at his beck and call come blasting in. She doesn't dare try to sense anything other than his general position, trying not to give away her own. ]

All right so idea:

We continue here from our previous meme. We say that on the way through space to meet with Organa, some pocket dimension or hole in space sucks them up. They are now stuck in a small personal craft together in some other place all together, the first of which is some place wicked cold. It's a continuation of our previous essentially and I'm cool with starting it/making the prompt if you're willing to give it a try.

It sort of allows us to then like, have them appear where ever in some Doctor Who-esque series of misadventures. Sorry Organa, but maybe by the time he shows up he might be less of an angry child atleast?

[ Once, when Jason was small, he had scraped his knee. Then, face covered in snot and dried up tears as he stumbled home, he scraped the other one. It had happened during one of the brief stints his mother had been sober, a 3 month window of normalcy that Jason had reveled in. She had given him the softest smile and shook her head as she placed band-aids on his knees, the colors mismatched but topped with a kiss to make them feel better. He'd always remember it. Somehow, beyond explanation, they really had made the pain go away.

'Oh, Jay. If you didn't have bad luck, you wouldn't have luck at all.'

Catherine Todd was long dead, but her words still rang true. At this moment, Jason couldn't exactly remember why he'd agreed to help Bruce and the others with his particular assignment, but he knew for a fact that whatever they'd promised him, it wasn't worth it. Nothing could possibly be worth this.

In this-- a dilapidated, abandoned cabin in the woods that probably hadn't seen a living, breathing human being in over 10 years with the snowstorm of the century raging outside. His comms were dead and even if they worked, how would anyone find them in this weather? His jacket was shredded, his hood abandoned for a quick getaway, and he could feel the temperature dropping with every passing minute. But with Bruce right there, well--

[When a place is called the Shiverpeaks, you pretty much know it's got to be cold--it tells you right in the name. Granted, the name's hardly a necessary tell what with the thick blanket of snow as far as the eye can see, the tall peaks of glacial ice, the caves which have been carved into obscure contours by the erosion of wind on the hard-packed surface of drifted snow.

It's an inhospitable place for a lone lion to crash land. But at least there's little around for it to damage.

There are no settlements here, no towns. In fact there are barely even any trees. The majority of plants--if any grow here at all--must be buried deep under all the snow.

The plant in question sees this black shape plummet from the sky, watches in no small surprise as it descends in what looks like near free-fall, landing with a n echoing thwup that sends a cloud of snow like a blast into the air on its impact.

Moving as fast as the snowshoes he's wearing allow him, Aurus makes his way towards this crash site. He's not thinking ship, so he's not really expecting to see a man there near the mouth of what really does, now that he's getting a proper chance to appraise it, look like a giant black metal lion. A black metal lion that's spitting out a man who certainly looks rather the worse for wear.

Well, that's all something you don't see every day. Aurus takes his hands off the hilts of his weapons where they'd reflexively settled before he knew what he was going to find and calls down to the man as he crests a small hill that gives a proper view of the crash site.] Are you all right down there? [If they were on earth, the accent to his deep, steady voice would sound almost English. But unless Earth has hosted the sudden arrival of plant-people, they're definitely not there.]

Hoth. It was a planet his parents had mentioned repeatedly, their exploits out there amongst the snow tunnels, but the planet had been long abandoned since the age of the Resistance. It was the last place he expected the rebellion to try and hold out (after all it was the worst of it's winter season, and the bases were barely rat tunnels and the massive weight of snow collapsed much of it in on itself.

It did hold some major military equipment that even the First Order hadn't been ready to risk their men and money to retrieve. The star that Hoth orbited was being particularly finicky, sending out massive solar flares into space. The heat didnt reach the planet quickly enough to warm away it's snow, but the EMP bursts certainly did. No one with half a mind would risk being stranded on Hoth of all places.

And yet here they were, alone, trapped in the half collapsed section of the barracks, the cold turning their breath to ice around them. He could feel his toes and fingers aching already, and he curses loudly as he kicks at the steel door (the weight of 20 tons of snow leaning against it) and then turns back to Rey. "If we don't stay warm, we both die here. I need you to cooperate."

[Years after Egypt, working for the Speedwagon Foundation seems like the most obvious choice. Kakyoin can't deny that his initial interest in the possibility, expressed to Joseph Joestar in half-delirious arguments immediately after DIO, when he had to be held down more than once to stop trying to get out of bed—the initial interest was half a vested interest in other Stand users, and half a cheap tactic to stay in touch with the only people who'd ever understood him.

He can't deny it, but he definitely will try, although he's mostly stopped that these days. It's been too long to make a fuss anymore, and he's kept in touch with everyone just fine, so it's all worked out.

That said, with two of them married with families (somehow) and one of them Avdol with a Real Job (and one dog), it is a natural consequence that now most of his time is spent with Polnareff on missions that go awry more often than not. That's probably a consequence of Stand users being too ridiculous to begin with, let alone several of them in one place and one of them Polnareff...

Still, Kakyoin doesn't usually mind, unless their mission goes belly up and the target escapes and they're forced to make the shameful "we totally screwed that one up" phone call back to HQ and let someone else pick up their slack. Unless that happens, which it has this time, leaving Kakyoin in a mood while the two of them are stranded at least overnight before someone can pick them up out here in this icy, storm-ridden wasteland. There is at least a cottage; a small comfort, until its feeble generator power supply runs out.

So. Pissy Kakyoin, no power, snow everywhere, critical mission failure. Currently, Kakyoin is sitting on the floor near a pathetic fire in the fireplace, curled up like a pillbug but still managing to frown.]

[It took both of their body weights combined, but eventually the rickety door that looked as if it couldn't hold a spring breeze, slammed with a dull thud. The weather warned of an incoming snow storm, but what started as a light sprinkling that suggested enough time to reach the main camp, suddenly rushed in on them with barely any time to react.

The cabin held little light and the wind howled against the aching wood, but at least it was cover. That didn't stop the chill from seeping in through the cracks, however.]

Cold weather was still unbefitting for Sailor Uniforms. [South City tends to get freezing at night. As a Sunai monster, Leo doesn't get as cold as the average person. But unable to make it back to base as the snow comes down, quickly forming into a blizzard, he ducks into the first abandoned building he found. Only it doesn't seem to be so abandoned. The man with the cold eyes looks over the woman there, searching for something only he can see: the mark of a sinner, someone who has killed, raped, tortured, or otherwise done something heinous to blemish their human soul. He's dressed very lightly for the weather, nothing more than a thin jacket over a shirt.]

How did you get stuck out in this weather?
