There’s no real push to your actions; you do them as if they were second nature. Perhaps, initially, you were assigned this role, as protector and guardian of this person. Maybe you took it on because there was no one else. A natural guardian or not, good or evil, you caught a shining to them and felt…something. Something hard to explain, but you want to keep them safe and happy - or at the very least, content. No one is as dedicated to them as you. You want them to reach their goals; to help them achieve them, you'll do what you must, even if it means being their gofer or their right hand. But most of all, you don't want them to end up like you. They're worth more than that. Yet somehow, along the line, you became more to them, more than just their protector. You protect them anew and you've found a different way to make them happy. It's selfish, too, because you love them in your way and you want them more than anything. You may feel guilty, of course. They don't, though, and that's what matters. Right now, you two have a rare moment to yourselves. There are special matters to attend to. Continue to do your duty. Comment with your character, preferences, and what you'd prefer to play: protector or protected. Remember, you don't have to be so rigid. A traditionally weak character can "protect" a traditionally strong one in emotional ways. Reply to others.

[they has escaped from the gang for a little while but there was no telling when they would catch up to them. roy pulled riza into a small room in the old building they were in. the gang were using it as their secret base and they had infiltrated them. riza had got hurt and roy had protected her from one of the men who had been after her. she was hurt and bleeding. it was okay because they were hidden for now. he had to take care of her first.]

(ooc: Yuzuki is an OC I really need to fill out info on, though for the purposes of this she'd be a mostly unassuming nerdy loner.

My thought is rather than the usual summoning situation the reason Yuzuki meets Kael is that while Kael was moving around in their hound form a group of self-named "demon hunters" start harassing them. In truth Kael could have taken them, but before they could Yuzuki runs in and kicks the nearest one in the gut and gets Kael to run

If asked later she'd say something to the effect that "There was something in your eyes that told me you hadn't done anything to deserve them attacking you." Granted Yuzuki did just think they were a wolf being harassed by some people who didn't know the meaning of "call animal control". She doesn't regret it even knowing the reality.

So Kael figuring Yuzuki is probably going to at least be bothered by this bunch of loons guides her through making the pact with them. - That's my idea anyway, but I'm open to other ideas!

For Yuzuki's part she's going to be very easy to fluster and work up. As Kael will figure out looking through her book collection she responds a lot better to their female form. That said she won't be a pillow queen and once things start will give as good as she gets, with maybe just a little guidance necessary.)
