1. first day

Catch up with old friends, brave new teachers, fight your way through the sea of students, and hope you're in the right classroom. Oh, you're the new kid. Well, that's okay as long as you've got more than enough summer vacation anecdotes to fill ten pages of Times New Roman size 12, single-spaced.

 

2. first period

You're gonna be late! Or are you already there? Class hasn't started just yet, so chat it up or copy your classmate's homework before the teacher gets here.

 

3. lesson proper

You're probably diligently taking notes, looking out the window daydreaming or reciting in class, much to your teacher's delight - or dismay. Try not to be too obvious when counting down the minutes and pass that note as discreetly as possible.

 

4. faculty

Have a bone to pick with your terror math teacher. A crush on the cute chemistry teacher? There might be something you want to ask your homeroom teacher about. In any case, you plan on seeing a faculty member today. Or maybe they plan on seeing you!

 

5. lunch break

Man, you are starving. Hopefully, today's menu has something good. If the crowded cafeteria's not your thing, try the rooftop.

 

6. hooky

One of you is skipping class. You should try talking them out of it if that's your thing.

 

7. detention

What on earth did you do to get this? Oh well. Detention can't be that bad when you've got all these very nice, approachable model students around to talk to.

 

8. p.e.

Baseball, basketball, dodgeball - no matter the sport, just remember: you are the star. It's you. At least, you hope it is.

 

9. home ec.

Sewing! Cooking! ... Try not to burn the school down!

( here she is. maka albarn, straight A student, the girl with the perfect attendance... in detention. it has come to this. now honestly, she's in detention due to a misunderstanding. she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. )

( the real troublemakers got away before they got caught and it left maka all by herself facing the teacher. she tried to explain, but the teacher didn't care. and so here she is, in detention. and she vowed she'll make those suckers pay. but for now? she'll just look depressed with her head on the desk. )

[It's surprising, to say the least, when Steve Rogers is cast as Petruchio instead of the more bold and more lothario Howard Stark in their high school's production of The Taming of the Shrew. Stark, meanwhile, is placed in the role of Lucentio, which he thinks is below him; however, since this thread isn't about him, he'll largely be ignored.

Coach Philips, of the football team and not a drama teacher, is directing it and he made sure to emphasize to Steve about the scenes including his character, Katherina (being played by Peggy), and her "taming". This will, of course, involve Steve picking Peggy up, ripping her clothes off, and spanking her. While her friends made sexually charged, almost snide comments about it and while there were definitely snickers from people when Philips said this in his scratchy voice during rehearsals, Peggy finds the whole matter trifling. Though she has feelings for him, she will not let them interfere with the play, even if it's sort of nerve-wracking.

While Stark and Lorraine are performing their scene on stage for Philips, Steve and Peggy have been regulated to a back room behind the stage, where they practice Act IV, Scene V.]

[Steve hated gym class like most of the other scrawny guys who were exceptionally uncoordinated and stuck into a group full of natural jocks. He tried his best, no doubt. But he really couldn't keep up with people like Thor and his friends during team sport activities let alone carry his leg of a relay race to hand of the baton to the Captain of all of the important sports team their school had.

He was on the verge of an asthma attack when he finally got to the much more capable guy, and he pushed the baton into his hand before promptly falling onto his ass right on the track.]

Kariya is settled at one of the library tables after classes, leveling a positively nauseous look on Gamma. Normally, he's careful to stay under the teachers' radar, but, thanks to a ditched class or two and the occasional missing assignment, his math instructor leveled a choice: after-school catch-up lessons or a conference with his "guardians."

The former would've been bearable, except...he hadn't thought she meant catch-up lessons with another student. Let alone this one.]
