we all have bad dreams, sometimes. luckily, you have someone there when you wake up to help you calm down. Whether they're a significant other, a parent, or a really good friend. Time to cuddle it out.
Toplevel with your character's name/series, and if you have a preference for whether they're the comforter or the one having the nightmares. Add any other relevant info, or scenarios. or don't put anything I don't fucking care who am I, your mom?

[He thought perhaps he'd been transitioning rather well, since helping to bring about the end of the First Order and going with Rey at last. He'd even had someone greet him today. It had been awkward and no one knew who he had been before his joining the Resistance. He'd wondered if they could even be called a Resistance any more, without something to resist. All in all the day had ended with the man formerly known as the Supreme Leader of the First Order and Commander of the Knights of Ren falling into a peaceful sleep with Rey at his side.

It had started peacefully, at least.

He'd begun to dream of old memories of his childhood. The cockpit of the Millenium Falcon looked as beat up as ever, but his father was there, leaning back in his seat with his arms thrown up against the headrest while Chewbacca chortled happily to him. Ben couldn't make out what they were saying. Deciding to get up and walk about the ship, it rocks him back against his seat. The turbulence knocked him off balance. Trying to right himself, the ship's lights flickering, everything suddenly became red. He was no longer on the Millenium Falcon but the bridge where he'd stood before his father, the silence aboard the Finalizer so intense that you could hear a pin drop.

Righting himself, he sees his father standing on the bridge and he walks towards him immediately. Han Solo speaks, but the words are far away. He takes the lightsaber, their hands holding it up, and Ben can feel his own hands igniting it, jamming it against his father's stomach as the red hot beam burns through his flesh. He wanted to scream at himself but he wasn't in control of this nightmare. As he watched his father fall, the darkness rose up, swallowing him and everything below where Ben stood. The higher it crept, the louder everything seemed to be. He felt a searing pain in his side, making him flinch back. He could hear Snoke's cold laughter, his words echoing in his head. He was weak, weak, weak and he was nothing but a pale shadow of the man he'd killed, sentimental and foolish. The darkness crept higher and he took a step back, trying to outrun it, outrun the snowy forest and Snoke's throne room. He had no where left to run. It drew in, Snoke's hand reached for his throat, his laughter cutting into him like a knife, and-

Ben jerked awake with a start, eyes snapping open. He'd very nearly knocked Rey off of him, where she was snuggled against his side, her arm wrapped around his waist. Gasping for air, he wills himself to relax and hopes she doesn't wake.]

It was one of those rare moments that Victor slept. It was part of his system. But now he was sleeping next to someone he was usually comfortable with. That was, until he had the dream again. It had been plaguing him since Birdy's death. The nightmare started as usual, but instead of Victor finding her dead, Graydon killed her right in front of him. Birdy was dying in his arms when he woke up, jolting up with a loud snarl. Once he realized it had been a dream, he laid back, panting heavily.

And of course, it was Logan who has to jump back a little, his claws unsheathed almost immediately in the event Victor chose to pounce on him (it wouldn't be the first time).

As his brother calmed down, however, Logan's claws slowly retracted back into his body, a frown pulled on his face. The only reason Victor was here was precisely because he was unpredictable, and Logan was the only one in the entire mansion who could hold him back; in any case, they certainly weren't new to sleeping together, since as boys it was all they ever knew.

"What the hell was that?" he grumbled, but even underneath the irritated facade of his words Logan's concern was there all the same. "...what did you dream about?"

Oscar was one of the very few people to whom Red showed some modicum of respect towards, enough that he chose not to use magick to spy on him without his knowledge.

It thus came as a surprise that when he dropped in unannounced well-past midnight that Red would find the man not only asleep, but in the midst of an affecting dream. The night was often a time when Oscar was awake, and while Red had no anticipated to see him so vulnerable he quickly decided to take advantage of the situation.

Quietly, Red took a few steps closer to gain a better view. He had seen the in side of Oscar's dwelling before but the absence of light gave it a cold veil. Whatever Oscar saw in his sleeping mind's eye clearly disturbed him; Red looked on these heretofore unseen expressions, eyes closed, mouth taut, with fascination. It was a little too warm in the room. He couldn't imagine what nightmares visited his 'friend' but as curious as he was, Red would not wake him to ask.
