The Premise
Ah, the joy of pregnancy. Many people consider it a true blessing to be able to bring. For others, admittedly, it's not exactly planned. Still, once it's done, that's one etch-a-sketch that usually can't be shaken to erase. Might as well get used to that pregnant glow. But hey, look at this way: those who are with child can find themselves with a much fuller figure, larger breasts, a higher libido...that's surely worth the surprise lactation, the sore feet, and the eventual baby- Right? You may remain yourself, or you may believe yourself to be in a completely different world, such as a modern couple starting a family or a medieval lord and lady producing an heir. The timey-wimey magic also comes in handy, as the stages of pregnancy can be jumped to at random, so no two people may be the same degree of "along." Don't think that the gender roles are so rigid here as they are in the real world, though; it wouldn't be amusing that way. Biological men can get pregnant, biological women can impregnate others...just go with it. So have fun and enjoy the new kinks in your sex life! You know, some people have a pregnancy fetish...

Character Name: Samantha Murphy, the knocked up party.
Age: By default I play her around 30, but I can change it for the meme.
Yes: I'd be down for the impregnation, for the finding out she's pregnant, and/or a cutesy scene in which she's pregnant and having a craving or something. A breeding type scene could be discussed but I think either a purposeful or accidental pregnancy from consensual sex would be best.
No: I would very much prefer to avoid the childbirth and other gross parts.
Personality: Fighty marshmallow, walking Canadian stereotype, loves beer and cuddles. She can be a bit of a bitch, but she's got a good heart.
Anything Else: Okay. So normally I wouldn't put Sam in a meme like this, because by default she's infertile. However, I've been thinking about exploring the possibilities. No better chance than this kinda meme, I guess? It could be either completely AU where she's older and getting pregnant, or when her early 20s before she's sterilized in her backstory.

The previous eight months had been a whirlwind of activity and emotion - for both Rey and Ben. With pre-natal visits for mom and physical therapy sessions for dad, the entire family was in and out of a doctor's office nearly every other day. The fiasco with Leia was almost a blessing in disguise - as it led into an extra pair of hands around the house. Matt adored having Grandpa Han around, and begrudgingly, Ben discovered that he did too. The two were able to make up for a lot of time lost.

And of course, Ben doted on his wife every possible chance he got.

"Matt's playdate with Jessie went well. Lots of good turn taking." He filled Rey in on the details of the day as he massaged her sore feet. "Jess told me that Poe's about ready to force you into maternity leave, though. You're nearly full term. At least, for twins."

The last eight months had almost felt like it had passed in the blink of an eye. Pregnancy, buying a house and moving in, Ben's accident and the resulting blowup with his mother sometimes felt like it was a dream. But through it all, they were happy, Ben and Rey and Matt, and Grandpa Han and even Chewie, too.

And soon, the twins would arrive, and their little family would grow a little bigger.

(Twins, though! Sometimes, when Rey thought about having twins, she felt a little overwhelmed. But she had Ben, and Ben was the best father in the universe, and they had plenty of friends who kept reassuring them that they were ready and prepared to help with anything.)

Rey sighed and relaxed into the couch as Ben worked at her tired feet. "I'm glad to hear that. He's getting better with sharing. And with his sisters coming soon, that couldn't have happened at a better time."

She huffed out a chagrined little chuckle and nodded. "Yeah, I know. I probably should have gone on it already, honestly. But there's just so much work to do, I don't like the thought of leaving Poe one head short."

"If it helps, I did tell her you've done this before." he chuckled right along with her. He squirted a little more lotion on his hands before working over her feet again. "And that your office is technically closer to the hospital than our house is."

As one could imagine, Jess frowned at that last part. Poe had apparently been having nightmares about what to do if he had to deliver the babies during a pre-trial meeting.

"But if that's your big worry, maybe you could work from home for a few weeks." he suggested. "It'll give you a chance to put your feet up a little more. And I can rub them more often."

Of course, if Rey wanted to work right up until she went into labor, Ben would still pack her healthy iron and calcium-rich lunches just like the doctor ordered.

"I'm sure that really reassured her", Rey laughed, her eyes slowly fluttering shut as Ben worked out some of the aches and pains plaguing her this far into her pregnancy. "But thanks for trying anyway."

But he made a good point - and a compelling one. She could work from home for a while. There really was no reason that she needed to be at the office. And she liked the idea of not having to get out of pajamas if she didn't want to.

"I'll give it some thought", is what Rey said, but she'd pretty much already decided that that was probably her best course of action. Besides, Poe shouldn't have nightmares or worries on her account, and by staying at work, she really was toeing the line and ... kind of asking for trouble.

"And whatever you need us to do to help you make that happen, just say it."

If that meant getting the boys out of the house so Rey could work with peace and quiet, he'd do it. If it meant bringing her lunch while she worked, he'd do it. If it meant extra backrubs and a brand new pillow, he'd make it happen. Mostly, it probably meant keeping Matt occupied - which with Grandpa Han and the puppy around, wasn't all that difficult.

"Pretty soon, our little girls will be here, and Poe will be begging you to bring them into the office to show them off."
