Sonya was actually surprised to meet Marie when she did. She wasn't entirely sure she could call the woman 'a friend', but she was always glad to see her, even more so when the woman was willing to hook-up with her for the night. The thought of company for the evening wasn't lost on her, especially when it meant a chance to let her defenses down and just enjoy herself.

The next morning found her once more in Marie's bed, her body still humming from the playful romp they had the night before. She turned over under the sheets and stretched herself out, looking to see if her bedmate was awake or not.

Princess Seto had contracted the famous Samus Aran to capture the infamous Space Pirate Ryoko. Before she went on assignment, the Oni Princess invited the blonde to her personal chambers; she wanted to demonstrate a special substance Samus could use to catch Ryoko.

So Seto asked Samus to strip out of her battle-suit, leaving her in her blue tank-top and shorts. Footwear was discarded in Seto's chambers, leaving Samus bare foot.

The 'substance' Seto wanted to demonstrate was 'capture gel', and she showed it off by enveloping the blonde in it; the sticky green adhesive engulfing Samus up to her shoulders.

"How do you like the feel, Ms. Aran?" Seto mused, watching the gel hold the blonde's taut body. "As you can see, it's unlikely that Ryoko will be able to escape once you snare her with that substance. It's *quite* inescapable, as you are no doubt experiencing." She grinned.

It's not often they both take the time to sleep, a novelty that has them side by side in some loaned bed. After their last job, though, dealing with things beyond any stretch of imagination, they deserve this much. Scuffed up, bruised, and bandaged as they are, healing takes time and rest. But the most difficult part of it, by a country mile, was keeping his partner under the sheets — knowing his proclivity to prop up awkwardly on a bit of floor somewhere.

Counts himself successful when he rouses after three fitful hours, pain a dull, pleasant ache that reminds Hei he's alive. It takes him a moment to figure out where he's ended up this time, wary, and reaching over to find a warm bicep is the only thing that makes him settle, fingers curling against skin.
