[ She ought to be grateful--the creep from the restaurant in the center of the village had been bothering her for blocks, and she generally anticipated like-behavior from soldiers, not assistance. Seeing the guy have his rear-end handed to him, neatly, by the youth in armor had been both satisfying and impressive. But it also left her suspicious, arms crossed over her chest and eyebrow raised, as the drunk ran off to lick his wounds.]

[It was easy enough when posing as a man in armor to scare off a drunkard. Even when Mulan wasn't that intimidating of a presence she had grown rather big in her own rights since becoming a soldier. She wasn't exactly expecting that kind of reaction though. Embarrassed, and now feeling slightly nervous and shy she shifted a little from foot to foot.]

W-well no...I suppose not. [Wait that wasn't very manly was it?]

That guy just looked like he had been bugging you a while, and I couldn't stand by anymore and let him, ya know? [Gives a deeper, more rough sounding voice to make herself seem a bit more manly, and not like a boy who just exited puberty. Yeah, that's the ticket.]

[ Meg's eyebrows shot up at the difference in tone--meek to almost, almost pompous, polite to something to prove.

Talk about your cases of boys really trying to be men.

She'd originally pegged him as a young man with a family background that kept him from being a tall, imposing figure, now she had to wonder if he was even old enough to be wearing that armor. It made the unwanted assistance a little easier to take. ]

If you're going to indulge in chivalry, kid, you at least better be able to own it. [ She adjusted the thin shawl on her shoulders and looked him up and down again, expression turning into a very intentional smile.] Think you can do me one more favor, hero?

[What was with that look she was giving her? For some odd reason that smile made Mulan feel a bit embarrassed, like the time when she and the others were passing by a group of women. Women who giggled flirtatiously at her when a certain dragon gave a whistle behind her. It was like that, only kind of not?

Meg was incredibly pretty, then there was that smile, and the shawl that only added to the woman's natural beauty...what was this?]

W-well... [Hang on, she gives a cough to bring back that MANLY man voice.] Of course! What can I help you with?

[ She could. Every bit of evidence about her suggests that it is a possibility on the table, which she is simply opting out of. As she moved closer she could see the tell-tale signs of successful flustering--the slightest tinge, the barest recoil... Girl had to get her kicks somehow, and it was nice to have an opportunity present itself. ]

There's a dragon. [ She gestured towards the mountains in the distance, past the edge of the village.] Thataway. Apparently. And I've got a bit of a walk ahead of me, and no torch. Think you can help me rustle one up?

A dragon? [She couldn't be talking about that little, troublemaking lizard right? The one who says he's Mushu and is her guardian? Nah, couldn't be...right? At that Mulan seemed to regain some of her composure.]

Of course I would be happy to help! [So much bravado coming from her. It was a bit startling, even for her.]

[ It was, specifically, a fucanglong, an underworld guardian of riches and treasure, and she had a mind to try and talk it out of some of the hoard. Not that the kid needed to know. Now that she was closer, it was apparent that she was almost taller than the young solider. Granted, she was tall for a girl and her hair added to the effect, but still... ]

Figure it might be interesting because she wouldn't pretend to be a man, she'd just wreck house and tell anyone who tries to get in her way to stuff it.

Also to be perfectly honest she will probably flirt with Mulan just to fluster her.)

[I thought playing Extra would make her voice easier to grasp but she actually feels a lot different in there than in Extella (which already has basically three different personalities to begin with), so a chance to play off some people and get a concrete voice together for her would be nice. Fate peeps would be ideal but anything you think would mesh with her works! I feel like she'd probably do well against Persona people? Her games certainly have the soundtrack for it.]
