[TLJ-compliant, if that matters in this instance. That being said, any AUs that involve Rey (or any of the other "good guys") going Dark or sorts of role reversal are love. Modern AUs, medieval fantasy AUs, and basically anything else are also things that I want. Am definitely open to cross-canon as well as canon characters.
[ heeeeello would you be interested in a What If? I'm thinking... after the Incident, what if instead of running off forever Luke INTENDED to run away but had a change of heart and decided to mount a rescue attempt, long before the events of TFA. ]
It's debatable whether Mishima's demon summoning ritual should be labeled as a success or a failure. On one hand, he has certainly drawn the exacting pattern of arcane symbols correctly and drawn a creature of darkness to stand in its center. Unfortunately, the other side of the debate suggests that this is probably what he aimed to capture. Not a foul-tempered beast bearing ash-blackened horns and vicious, dusky claws.
At least the outfits are similar. That's got to count for something. The flimsy outer covering leaves little to the imagination, most strikingly that the crowned demon is masculine.
No tiddies today (or any other day). Instead, the confused and alarmed captive snarls, looking around to understand his whereabouts. Why, and who dares impose?
[ He's not sure how much his mother knows about the details. He hadn't asked Rey because he hadn't know she was planning to, essentially, kidnap him from right under the First Order's nose at the first sign that he may be in trouble. And considering the escape was---
well. Hasty was one word to use for it.... He hadn't had time to ponder what his mom would have thought was going on. Let alone any of the other Resistance fighters. Rey had been his main concern.
The time in hyperspace had given him the chance to think-- He and Rey dismantled all the First Order comm's he had on his person, checked over his clothes, made sure there was nothing else to track him with. He'd gotten a chance to take a short nap-- something he hadn't done in a while.
He wakes up with a jolt, blanket draped over his shoulders, they're out of hyper space and approaching a planet. He frets nervously, his usual stoic demeanor is broken by the tension he suddenly feels. He didn't belong here, he'd murdered so many people. He killed his father. No one knew what "precious asset" Rey had been after in her hasty plan, but she can't imagine anyone would be happy to see Kylo Ren exit the Falcon.
He hears the chatter from Rey's end-- talking with the Resistance, telling them that she's landing. There's some banter and he almost wants to listen in, but keeps his distance. He smooths a hand over the chess table when she comes walking past, the exit ramp already engaged and open, giving him a curious look. ]
I'll be there soon.
[ Or maybe it's an option to just stay in this ship forever and die on it. Sounds better than facing a group of people who have every right to want you dead. ]
