The wedding bells have rung - or the correct sacrifices have been made, depending on your culture. Whatever the case may be, you're married now, and the night is yours. However, there is one expectation on you: it's time to consummate the marriage.

Whether you're in love, in this marriage because it was arranged, or absolutely in hate with your new spouse, you're with them now. Have you two been intimate before this, or is your first time...with them or first time period? Do you know what you want and are you full of lust, or do you have no clue what's going on? Maybe you even have to seduce your partner who wants nothing to do with this!

...or, most forbidden of all, you're not the one getting married to this person. You just have to be with them on their wedding night, because you want them no matter what!

[ Okay, yes, this is a favorite. I actually have a few ideas:
1. A played-straight wedding night with either a pair in love or a couple in an arranged marriage.
2. A "redo" of a wedding night between people who were initially just in the marriage because it was arranged, yet now have legitimate feelings for each other.
OR, 3. Somewhat related to the above, in that an arranged couple has somehow postponed or otherwise avoided consummating their marriage because they weren't in love - now that they are, they finally want to do the deed.

I love assumed CR, crossovers (♥ ♥ ♥), convoluted scenarios, combustive attraction, bickering, culture differences, ingenue/gruff, worldly man, inhuman characters, Beauty and the Beast dynamics because duh, uncomfortable sex, creativity due to said uncomfortable or awkward sex (ie, dick's too big to fit, better wow with stellar oral sex), partners eager to please, arranged marriage AU, fairy tale/fantasy settings, magic, passionate reunions, sneaky trysts, orgasming to exhaustion, risk of discovery, emotions spilling out in private, meaningful communication via sex, and much, much more.

Ridiculously into Tolkienverse (dwarves yes pls), ASOIAF/GOT, HP (my kingdom for a Newt Scamander or Lupin), and MCU right now and equally into AUing Belle to fit in any of them, but check out my slightly embarrassing dream list of shit I'd like to play.

[Yep! Sounds perfect. I'm seriously easy and game for whatever.]

Arthur's time had been heavily split since his marriage. Narnia was and wasn't English territory, something he'd long debated with the great lion watching over it. Just like Peter and his family belonged to both. Which, hadn't sat easily with the nation. So a marriage was the solution. It was not the first time a nation had married one of their monarchs. Of course, he'd been called back to England not soon after, only returning now, months later.

Once the fanfare had died down, he found himself led to the royal bedchamber and given a cup of tea while he waited for his new husband to join him.

[They were still figuring things out. Luckily so far, Stephen's work with magic didn't seem to give too many unexpected side-effects to the whole figuring out being a were. In fact it did seem to help with the issue of control.

Of course it was only a matter of time that a new complication cropped up. A ritual he'd done hundreds of times before without any trouble or side-effect? Ended with him stuck in his jaguar form. It took some time to discern the reason, let alone a solution, including several visits, one of which was with Wanda who wasn't above snickering at the sorcerer, or slipping in a couple subtle puns at his expense. Which wound up leading to their current solution. Not that Stephen had expected Sam to agree, not when he explained just how binding magical contracts like this were. He could do magic like this, he'd be fine. Probably not the first time the Sorcerer Supreme had been an animal.

And if worrying about Sam's side of the deal when he did agree meant that Stephen could ignore his own raging issues around the idea, well that was a bonus side-effect. But it was straightforward. The binding ritual stripped preexisting magics away, no matter how powerful they might be. So long as the steps were followed that is, in a timely manner. If not? Well, Stephen was back to being furry forever.]

[Sam, for his part, didn't worry too much about what was apparently the magical equivalent of a wedding. He probably should have worried more, but he suspected - and had conveniently failed to mention to Stephen - that they already had a magical bond as mates. Which meant that, yes, he actually was more concerned about getting Stephen in a form he was willing to have sex with most of the time. (And that he had a lot of feelings for the sorcerer, which he also avoided mentioning.)

This really wasn't what he'd imagined his wedding to be like - definitely not marrying a jaguar with a bow tie around his neck, for one thing, or conducted in a strange extraplanar pocket dimension, or without any guests apart from Wong, who wouldn't even throw flower petals for them.

There were, however, rose petals on the bed. They were black, and Sam suspected they were somehow involved in the ritual. They also had a tendency to stick to his bare ass.]

You know, feeling like there's a metaphorical clock ticking away is like the opposite of a turn-on. Too much pressure to perform.

[Stephen had managed to convince himself that the whole 'mates' thing wasn't nearly as much of a commitment as it actually was. Which actually made the binding doubly effective in the long run, given they were already linked in that manner.

At least the first part of the impromptu wedding seemed to be working, and Stephen was thankfully able to shift back when the vows had been exchanged, the contract created, otherwise things would be getting very awkward very fast.]

We've got some time if you need. [About eight hours give or take, that counted as the 'wedding night' as far as the ritual was concerned. No need to rush things if Sam needed to take a bit and get in the mood. For the moment, Stephen was moving to settle on the bed with him, waiting to hear what Sam wanted to do.]

[Sam snaked an arm around Stephen's waist, tugging him in close. Although the other man wasn't much of one for physical affection, he'd learned to submit to it with a minimum of grumbling where Sam was concerned, mostly because there was no way to stop him. Pressing a kiss to his shoulder, Sam took a moment to think. Of course it figured that the one time they absolutely had to have sex was the time his body decided to be contrary. Not that he thought it would be a problem once they got started, but it was simply getting started that made things difficult. It was too bad they weren't closer to the full moon, he thought wistfully.]

I should've brought my phone. If there was ever a time for some Marvin Gaye in the background...

[It didn't hurt that Stephen did like those bits of affection, grumbling as he got them or not. He didn't bother to say as much because it was plenty obvious, as trying to get him to do anything he didn't want to was an exercise in frustration at best.

As it was, he let out a quiet hum at the contact, settling in against Sam readily enough, returning the kiss with one to his temple in turn.]

I'd offer to hum but I don't think my musical butchery would help do anything but kill the mood.

[Sam let his hands idly roam over Stephen's skin, settling down at the contact. He'd been keyed up ever since Stephen had discovered he was stuck as a jaguar - more anxious than the sorcerer, actually, who was used to bizarre things happening constantly. Sam had been shifting since he was a teenager, but the rest of the magical world was new to him, and being around the Sorcerer Supreme meant that he had pretty much jumped straight into the deep end of magic.]

I think you probably sing better as a cat. [He grinned against Stephen's neck, a chuckle vibrating in his chest like a purr.]
