When two people come together in a relationship, it's a beautiful thing. What can be wrong with love, right? Right? Except when the union is completely and totally wrong, for whatever reason. Then things can get a little messy.

How To Play

1. Comment with your character, listing their name, canon, etc, along with any preferences.
2. Comment around to others, using the RNG to determine the scenario. It doesn't have to be a lovey-dovey relationship, obviously. There can be hate, sorrow, lust, whatever.
3. Thread! Have fun! Do things!

Scenarios

1. Warring Factions: You belong to rival organizations, armies, clubs, etc. Whatever it is, you're not on the same team.

2. Soldiers on the Battlefield: Or maybe you are on the same side, but this is the wrong time and the wrong place. Plus, attachments cause distractions.

3. Bodyguard and the Guarded: Just like the movie with Kevin Costner! One of you has been hired to protect the other for some reason, and feelings are starting to grow. Are you a professional and cut things off, or do you give in?

4. Prince/ss and Knight: Similar to the above, but with a whole 'nother level of wrong...one of you is royal. Courtly love is okay; still, don't forget your place.

5. Enemies: This vendetta is personal, and you totally hate this person! Don't you? Perhaps you're maybe just rivals, or something as serious as superhero and villain.

6. Family: The ultimate taboo. This person is related to you, so there's no way you should indulge this desire, even if it's the most pure love there ever was.

7. Age Difference: The years between you should keep you both at bay, but it's easier said than done.

8. Teacher/Student: Teachers and students have a unique bond, and to corrupt it is a dangerous thing. Will you dare to act on emotions that could put you both in a destructive place?

9. Already Spoken For: One or both of you are already involved with someone else, but the heart wants what the heart wants. Just know that you can't have your cake and eat it, too.

10. Not Compatible: Your personalities or jobs make it so it's hard for you to be together.

11. Not Compatible...in Another Way: You're both different species, which means you're either afraid to take your relationship to a physical level or you can't because of differences in biologies.

12. Not Ready for Love: You took a vow (or celibacy, of chastity, of dedication), you're married to your work, or you just don't want to be involved with anyone. Too bad!

13. Rich and Poor: One of you has the money while the other is from more modest means. Can the 1% and the 99% ever be bedfellows, literally?

14. Hurt Before: Your heart has been broken, and maybe there's been no time to heal. But here you are.

Lucina?

[ Djeeta's voice comes in soft as she crests the hill to overlook the camp, sliding her shortsword back into the sheath at her hip. ]

I'm sorry--I thought I heard something.

[ Though, standing here, looking up at the stars... they're so bright, just like the night she'd joined the group. She wasn't sure how long it'd been since then, but she was missing home a little, even if her memory was fuzzy. She'd never spoken about it too in detail to anyone, even if part of her wanted to unravel what exactly these memories were. She found solace with Lucina instead, found comfort in someone so serious.

Maybe a little too much comfort, but she wasn't going to think about that. ]

Would you like to be alone?

[while Lucina was lost in thought, she wasn't so lost as to be careless. her ears must always be keen for the sounds of creeping enemies, after all. at the sound of her name called, she turns her head and looks back, squinting until the shape backlit by campfires forms and focuses into Djeeta's.

she smiles, small but kindly.

another new Shepherd in the fold...and even her mysterious recruitment isn't the strangest. why, just look at Lucina and her friends!

but in dire times like this, how everyone gathered isn't as important as gathering at all. the more hands that could stand up against the Grimleal, the better the odds at changing the future.

but that's...probably not what Djeeta's wandered over to talk about.]

Please, [she gives a gesture with her arm.] I'd be happy for company.

[ Djeeta smiles fully, accelerating her steps towards Lucina, and then sitting on the ground next to where she stands. She's not dainty, not anywhere close--her zeal for weaponry is just too pronounced. ]

I'm be happy to be your company. It's a really beautiful night... I thought of coming up here when we made camp, but I was too distracted. How's the night been?

Calm, thank the gods. [she nods, then blinks, realizing...oh. she's seated.

well! Lucina can sit, too. she lets out a little sigh.] Perhaps we can find a bit of peace in the midst of this march at last. Goodness knows many of us need it.

Are you talking about yourself?

[ Djeeta laughs, stretching her legs out in front of her. ]

Sometimes you do look like you could use peace in your heart.

[she smiles small, a little pained.]

Do I seem that troubled?

[Is he the protected or the protector?]

(All things considered he should probably be the protected. But from what to what?)

In the end, he had gotten caught out because he just could not control his temper.

He could control the Force. He could control his TIE-fighter. He could keep a mad, but firm control over the First Order inbetween his fits of rage. The point was, he could control almost the entire universe, except for two things. One of them ... was his temper.

So when he was taunted into a one-on-one battle with the Millenium Falcon, he took it. Little knowing that the trap had been sprung by that damned Dameron and that traitor Finn. Then he was locked in, and guarded once more, as they waited to take him off to .... who knew where.

That he wasn't dead surprised him. What were they waiting for? He brooded on that until the moment that the Rebel Base was invaded by First Order assassins sent by Hux to kill him. At that point he just worked on keeping himself alive long enough to try and snag control of something again, while promising himself to kill Hux very, very slowly once he saw him again.

He was meditating on how he was going to peel the skin from Hux's pasty body, pacing back and forth in his Rebellion cell when ... he felt her. He had not felt her in some time, and the surprise of it actually stopped him. He twisted his entire body towards the force-fielded, steel-barred enclosure, dark eyes alight with shock.
