This union has been tainted from the start, forever bearing the chains of an arranged marriage. It would be understandable if you couldn't bear to look at your new life partner, eternal reminder of your stolen future that they are, much less like them. Much less love them... Still, things can change. You could realize that they are in the same boat as you or, that when compared to others around you, they are the lesser of evils. Perhaps you even open up to the idea of a friendship; at the very least, an alliance may be in order to become a power couple in a perilous world. From that innocent decision or sense of self-preservation, a new feelings sparks. Something like affection. Something, you realize in the wake of speeding heartbeats, like love. Will you acknowledge this? Additionally, something I'm really interested in is playing up her more inhuman, unearthly qualities. What comes to mind is spinning her into a pagan god-queen where she retains her kindness, yet her proclivity towards unbridled emotions can spill out into ruthlessness. My general framework is something of a mother goddess meets Daenerys from Game of Thrones. IDK, IDK, I'm just thirsty for a different twist. )

[ Who knew people could suddenly show up from the future? Izumo sure didn't know that, and the poor man had been unfortunate to show up in a place that believed magic was bad, and for some reason the man had to choose between getting burned at the stake or getting married. And who better than someone whose soul they deemed doomed since he was a man of iron, a nomad tribe with a bad reputation among those who even remember they still existed? There was no innocent soul for the witch to doom to eternity here. Besides, he was already locked up just on account of showing up around the same time as the witch.

[ Can't say he expected this one. Roger sits in a cafe as he waits for the other half of this arrangement. Government initiative to limit quirklessness and to give children a home. There are ways around it, of course. It's not a total end-all-be-all. It's just kind of difficult to get out of when you've made it clear on your initial paper work (and all subsequent revisions) that you definitely do want to get married and have kids some day.

Roger's chance, to him, had long gone. Charlotte died and with it his future of a family or anything else. Liam was his family. James was his family. He'd never know that again. Well, the government had other plans, apparently. He never changed his status after Charlotte. Never had the heart to. So now he sits in this cafe with a few bits of paper in front of him. 78% of a personality and morality match - which is fucking impressive might he had. Then again, did anyone take those tests seriously? Who could tell. He certainly couldn't. Shouta Aizawa, teacher-- so they had that in common. Weird quirk, though, he liked it.

He sips on his coffee as he glances up at the sound of a cafe bell. This is their last shot before basically every piece of paper the government controls (including teaching licenses) get ground to a halt. They have to do this. There's no way around it. Better make the best of it. He smiles and stands to greet him. No mistaking who he is, the profile comes with a picture. ]
