It's only natural to long for a perfect love story. Few things feel as fulfilling as a relationship where the other person will always listen to you, sex is always good and happiness always seems to be one word away.

But it's not so simple in your case, is it? Because no matter how nice and happy your relationship is, the truth is that nobody else wants it to continue. Either you come from rival factions or pursue a relationship that is taboo or illegal, but this little bubble of happiness you're currently sharing would infuriate anyone who might find out about it.

That's all right, though, isn't it? As long as you have each other, you can make this meeting wonderful regardless of what everyone else thinks.

• Post your character and their basic information to the meme. Feel free to either set a scenario or leave your comment blank and open for one.
• Your character and the commenter are now engaged in a very bad romance! This is their first meeting after a long while, so sparks are definitely going to fly.
• But what about the details of their relationship? For that, you can either decide on your own or head to Random.ORG and roll for one of the following options! First, roll for the kind of relationships they have:

1. Keeping it in the Family: It's not unusual for siblings to love each other, or for parents to love their children. What's unusual is when you love each other too much, even if you have the excuse of not being related by blood.

2. Pay for Play: Your relationship wasn't built on love. It might be that one of you needed money and the other was willing to pay for a pretty face and a few wild nighs. It can be that one of you has something that allows them to blackmail the other into being their obedient toy. Whichever the case, there came a point where this relationship became too important for your lives to let go.

3. Rival factions: You might be coming from families that have been at each other's throats for generations, two rival corporations or two kingdoms at war. Or it might be the law that keeps you apart; a cop and a criminal is hardly a decent pair, after all. Whichever the case, you must be stealthy about this or the wrath of both your sides will fall upon you.

4. Balance of Power: One of you is enjoying a very different social standing from another. It might be that one of you is richer than rich and another is poorer than poor. Or it could be that one lover's standing is far above the other's, like that of a master and a servant or a soldier and a general. Of course, nobody expects this to work out. Even fewer would approve of it.

5. A Pair of Cheaters: One or both of you are stuck in another relationship, either out of convenience or because of love that cooled a long time ago. You know what you're doing is wrong and hurtful, but it's too late to stop. This relationship is the only thing that gets you off anymore.

6. Immoral and Illegal: Your relationship isn't just wrong, it might get you into serious trouble. Whether you are a teacher flirting with their student or a nun breaking her vow of celibacy to be seduced by a handsome friend, the slightest hint of being discovered will ruin your life forever. Problem is, you're far too involved to stop.

7. Toxic Relationship: One of you is clearly bad for each other. They might be a delinquent, a criminal or something else, but the number of bad habits they're bringing into your life is ridiculous. You should be stopping. Now, if only you wouldn't enjoy the chaos they're bringing into your life so much.

8. Stockholm Syndrome: It's not a relationship at all. One of you is keeping the other against their will; either as a political prisoner, a kidnapping victim waiting for a ransom or plain an unwilling toy. At some point, the relationship reached the point where the lines became blurred and you're no longer sure if you want to be rescued from this supposed hell.

• Done choosing? Good. Now roll the numbers again and decide on the circumstances behind your meeting:

1. First Time for Everything: Your relationship has been going for some time, but this is the first time you decided to let it advance into the bedroom. One or both of you might be nervous, but it's fine. This step should have been made a while ago.

2. A Usual Rendezvous: The relationship is now at the point where meeting up for sex whenever you're feeling safe and bored is a common affair. The world outside might hate you for this, but it's nothing compared to the routine of your relationship.

3. Ironic Jealousy: Oh my! One of you have seen the other in the hands of another. It doesn't matter if this "another" is their rightful partner, their spouse or whatever else. You belong to each other, so there's nothing wrong in getting jealous and a little rough for it.

4. Doubts and Hesitation: No matter how good your relationship is, it's wrong and one of you has been feeling that much more deeply these days. It's time for a confrontation - either you spend one last night before breaking up or one manages to convince the other that this whole thing must continue.

5. Caught in the Act: You've been doing your best to hide, but it didn't take you far. Someone saw you and it's only a matter of time before the whole world knows about your affair. Do you separate in order to satisfy everyone else? Or do you recklessly discard your old lives for the sake of forbidden love?

6. After Separation: Due to the constant pressure on your relationship, you decided to separate and lead your own lives. For better or worse, it takes you only so far. A chance meeting sends you into each other's arms and leaves you wondering why you broke up in the first place.

7. Happily Ever After: A lot of people protested against your union, but you never let it stop you. Now you're either leading a new life away from everything that forced you away from each other, or you convinced the world that this is what's right for you. Tonight is the night of celebration and not leaving each other's arms, no matter what.

[Mind games were something Kabuto was all too familiar with, all too experienced with when it came to getting what he'd wanted. Thus he hadn't had a single doubt in his mind that toying the younger Uchiha along was ever going to get dull or to a point where it would be a bad idea. Others came and went, either dying by some petty means or becoming nothing more than broken pets between himself and his former master. Really, when he thought about it, he'd been in the same situation years before he'd ended up where he was. Being played with, toyed along with the hopes that something good would come from all of the bad things that had happened. Luckily for him he'd figured it out and used his knowledge to instead cultivate his own skills and set out on this ridiculous quest. Not only had he gone into it as a challenge, but despite his annoyance of the boy for many different reasons there was something intriguing about him that he just couldn't put his finger on.

Though, now, with everything falling apart around him and knowing full well that the toy was threatening to become the puppet master it was all too unsettling. All too familiar and it left a cold feeling in the pit of his stomach, he had to do something to regain his control once again.

A last ditch and desperate attempt were his options in the scenario and he certainly hoped that his acting and abilities to twist words about would see him through.]

Sasuke, you can't truly believe that out there is the best place for you, can you? You can't be on your own and who are you to be controlling and manipulating others, certainly you must feel some sympathy for doing so. You can't tell me that this isn't what you truly want, deep down in that cold heart of yours. Come, now, let's be reasonable adults, hm?

[He was so familiar. Sasuke had started taking Kabuto and his unsettlingly well-informed whispers for granted a long time ago. And Kabuto had often proved to be useful to have on his good side, even if Sasuke despised being patronised. But things would be different from now on. Sasuke had surpassed the role of a disciple in regards to his own abilities, and he knew it. Perhaps he knew it better than anyone. Now all he had to do was grab what was rightfully his, and take command of his own life again... So what was it that kept holding him back? Surely there was nothing in what Kabuto was saying. He knew that he was capable, more than capable, to take care of himself. Then, what was it that kept holding him back?]

You think you know me that well? I doubt it. But even you should know the limited nature of my sympathy.

[Sasuke is good at building walls and putting on masks. But sympathy, deep down, he knows is still one of his few remaining weaknesses, and he cannot help but fear that Kabuto somehow knows this about him. It's obvious enough that Kabuto is trying to bend his will, and Sasuke knew Kabuto might just be reaching for straws and throwing guesses at him for this reason. But still Sasuke, not for the first time, felt a surge of unease. Could Kabuto really read him that well? Surely he could not be so transparent to him.]

[It had started as something small and inconsequential "come over for a chat if you like" and "stay for dinner," because Steve was that sweet and misplaced. And dealing with abilities was challenging, no matter how you came into them.

But he worked for the government and, while Charles was certainly a patriot and loved his country, his country and those who governed it did not necessarily love him or the rest of mutantkind. Those who did know about them kept their distance for the most part and they watched one another like territorial cats.

This --whatever this was, Charles wasn't sure-- had to be conducted with a certain finesse, in more ways than one.]

[Another road trip, another hotel room, but Charlotte had called through to Erik to open the door between the rooms --the kind that the staff used to go from room to room on a floor-- and they'd ended up in yet another of their endless discussions. She's still in her dress from dinner, shoes kicked off next door and hair starting to fall down in tendrils. She's sitting in a chair, legs tucked neatly together, a glass of Scotch in hand. It was an evening habit of her father's that she'd chosen to inherit.

The discussion had petered out, with Erik so resolute and passionate, and her arguing for some degree of caution, until they'd both ended up musing silently on the state of the world. But for all that, she liked it. Erik was one of few men who had treated her like an equal from the start; she didn't need to prove herself by pushing twice as hard. They were mutants and that was that.

And then there was the mutual attraction, something which she would occasionally even give into now that they were far away from the CIA's eyes. Not like her to be coy, unless she was playing at it, which is why her next point is--]

Before we departed, when you said that mutants need to be searching out their own kind, I agreed. Well, obviously-- [She makes a gesture to the room in general.] I'm here. But I think we need to do more than that, once we've gathered up as many as we can. I think we need to establish a separate base of operations.

Do you know what's going on, in America, with people classed as undesirable? [She shoots him a look.] Forced sterilization. Carried out by licensed doctors with certain principles, who know 'better' than their patients.

I'm sure it's a practice you're not unfamiliar with. [Considering who deployed it during the Second World War and who it was used against.]

It's not like Stiles wasn't aware of the dangers.

Yes, Beacon Village lies on the edge of a forest, a forest that once belonged to werewolves. And yes, though they are fewer, they are still strong, and dangerous, and without the capacity for reason.

But Deaton needed the wolfsbane plant to combat the latest round of animal attacks - though he said animal attacks with a tight, pinched look, sharing a look with Stiles' father, the town leader and protector. And Stiles could put two and two together, there was a werewolf, maybe more than one, attack the townspeople. Putting them in danger.

But Stiles' father had forbid Deaton to leave to get the plant. "We need a healer more," he had said, pained but knowing the truth. Stiles knew what would happen. The men and women would succumb to their wounds, or die from the bite.

Or they would become werewolves themselves.

But Stiles wasn't a healer. Yes, he was learning from Deaton, but he wasn't a healer yet. He was quick, and smart. He was so sure he would be able to get the wolfsbane before anything found him. And he slipped out during the day - the wolves wouldn't be around then, right?

Wrong.

He hadn't even made it to the wolfsbane before he heard growls and yips, the sound of two wolves - two werewolves - fighting. And then the sounds had stopped, but started up again. One wolf, closer.

While Stiles was trying to pinpoint the sound, the wolf had barreled into him, knocking him to the ground. Stiles had been so sure he was about to be eaten, had a moment to be thankful that the rock his head hit knocked him out because that meant he wouldn't be awake for it.

But when he woke up he was in a wolf den, most certainly alive. He groaned, groggy, and then raised a hand to his head, feeling the lump on the side of it. And then froze when he heard another noise, pulling his red cloak tighter to his body.

If the wolf hadn't ate him, or attacked him (he could feel no bites on his body) then he knew what it probably wanted.

Stiles thought if he encountered a wolf it would kill him, not want to breed him.

She should have shot him the first time he slunk up to her.

Okay, he hadn't really slunk so much as actually just walked up to her and offered advice on a dress she was looking at, but the point stood. She should have ignored him, waited for him to follow her and put an arrow between his eyes.

Instead she had ended up having lunch with him there at a cafe near the mall, listening to him speak.

It was insane. He had killed her aunt, in front of her. She had heard what he'd done to Lydia and should have hurt him for that alone.

And yet she didn't. She wasn't Scott's - she wasn't anyone's, but she wasn't with Scott and she missed him and Peter was smart, and clever, and he seemed to get a great many things about her that others hadn't.

Still, she said, quietly, "I'm not sure I should be here," when she stood in the doorway of his apartment, dressed in the black, blue-floral printed dress he had bought for her the last time she'd run into him. That's when he'd slipped the card with his address into it.

No number. Like he would always be there, waiting.
