ＷＨＥＲＥ
Ⅰ the LIP bite. Sometimes kissing isn't enough, or sometimes you're too nervous to even talk. Bite a lip. It doesn't even have to be yours.

Ⅱ the THROAT bite. You don't want to suck their blood, but you want them to know how thin this flesh is here.

Ⅲ the ARM bite. It's silly, but you want then to pay attention to you. Bites on the arm are usually childish and done in anger or playfulness.

Ⅳ the LEG bite. Know what long legs need? A nice set of teeth sunk into them. Just look at those thighs. Or you could always bring new meaning to the term "ankle biter".

Ⅴ the COLLAR bite. This one's for all you people who don't like turtlenecks. Bites leave marks, and well, some people don't want to show theirs off like trophies.

Ⅵ the HIP bite. Know what's hot? Teeth on your hip. Marks there are definitely enough to make anyone weak in the knees. If that's not what you're into, just remember there are more reasons than just sex to bite someone, especially here.


ＨＯＷ
Ⅰ the GENTLE bite. No one said biting had to be hard. This one's meant more for lovers. Little nibbles on the earlobe or pulse are always nice.

Ⅱ the BRUISING bite. Don't break the skin on this one. You want to leave a nice impression of your pearly whites on the other person, enough so afterwards you can enjoy that darkened mark.

Ⅲ the BLOODY bite. Biting has ill repercussions. Whether it's on purpose or an accident, there's blood, and possibly lots of it.

Ⅳ the HARD bite. This one doesn't bruise, but it does leave a nice impression of your teeth. All that orthodontic work really paid off.

Ⅴ the TEASING bite. No, no, no. Don't just sink your teeth in all at once! Ease your partner into it. Bite softly again and again before letting yourself clamp. You want to let them know you might not do it.

Ⅵ the PINCHING bite. All front teeth. Don't let anything further than your canines feel your partner's flesh. This one's just to let them know they irritated you, or it could just be that your mouth slipped. Sorry!

( Derek had a life outside his apartment, away from the relationship they had with each other. It was something Conan was reminded of every time the other man left or, more often, when he returned smelling like other people. People he worked with, people he helped. Conan told himself those people weren't any more than that.

Sometimes, he wondered. And during those times, it was hard to remind himself he couldn't drive people away from Derek to assert his claim. But he could make it obvious.

Conan was sprawled comfortably across Derek's bed, watching the other man as he moved about the room. He was more quiet than usual, muscles wound too tight as he picked through the scents in the air. Derek's was the strongest, always would be in his home, and he could find hints of his own. But there were others there he recognized, people he assumed Derek interacted with regularly from how often their scent lingered on him. Conan never asked, didn't want a name or any other kind of information that might fuel that possessiveness he felt. A scent was enough to find anyone, but a name was a reason. Incentive.

He reached out without warning, catching Derek's fingers in his own. His grip was loose enough that if Derek really wanted to, he could pull his hand free, but it was enough to say Conan had done it for a reason. He was quiet still as he tugged the other man closer to the bed by his hand, shifted so he was sitting up. Another tug and the other man's hand was close enough to his mouth that he could lean in, brush his lips against the flutter of a pulse on his wrist.

At first, his lips were little more than a brush of warmth. And then, a graze of teeth. And then a sharp nip against the sensitive skin. It was Conan's way of saying he wanted Derek's attention - full and undivided. )

[ It's been more than a week, and the hunt for the humans that had escaped the den hasn't lessened.

Larus doesn't know what that's supposed to mean when it comes to Aubrey—only that he's important. Important enough that they're at risk each time they step foot out of a safe house, and so, Larus has had to rely on more contacts and more favors than ever before. He doesn't need to eat so frequently, but he's made sure there's a decent selection of things for Aubrey to choose from whenever he has the appetite. And for the most part, it seems to work out for them. The safe house begins to feel more like a place well-lived in rather than some random place he stays for a night or two, and there's a comfortableness to the relationship that hadn't been there before. Maybe it's been too long since he's been around people that has him noticing certain things, particular quirks that force him to take a step back and reconsider his plans, and it's when he decides that he should leave Aubrey and disappear for a few days that it overwhelms him.

Larus knows it's the hunger finally beginning to claw its way to the surface. He chews on the edge of his tongue the entire time Aubrey is in the shower, flicking through the channels of the television as if there's something interesting on. There isn't. All he can do is count the seconds it takes for him to finish, listening to the faint echo of his heartbeat, and he's got his jacket on and a hand on the door when he finally emerges, pausing short of leaving with every intention of telling him to spend the night alone. The heat of the air from the bathroom is like a trigger, and he's across the room before he can stop himself, an arm snaking around Aubrey's waist while the other smooths up his chest so he can curl his fingers around his throat. He tries to be gentle, but the desire to just dig his teeth directly into his skin is so hard to ignore, grinding them together as he forcefully exhales. ]

I have to leave. [ He doesn't know who he's trying to convince, his thumb sliding over Aubrey's chin as he presses his bare teeth to the warm skin at the back of his neck. This is dangerous. He's going to kill him, and it had been his fault for waiting so long to feed, thinking he could suppress it until they managed to part ways. ] If I don't, neither one of us is going to like what comes next.
