In hindsight, this entire situation is ridiculous. After being struck by a strange attack, it was as if some of his personal filters were shut off. And so, in the middle of Mementos, Crow had attempted to very literally plaster himself to Joker's side - not at all caring when he had to fucking drive the Mona bus!!! - to try to be as close as possible. It's a miracle he didn't put an eye out with that ridiculous mask of his.

Once they're out, however, the status effect persists, and so, all but acting like a puppy with his favorite hooman, Goro Akechi won't stop cuddling Akira. No matter what.

All propriety towards his romantic inclinations were completely turned off, and this is the result.

As it is, it's late, he's tired, and he can't stop, won't stop, cuddling him. No. You can't make him. Fite him (please don't fite him.)

[He can't love Akechi. He doesn't know who Akechi is. All of their time together had only solidified that— that Akechi was a man of so many masks that Akira wasn't sure he remembered what not wearing a mask even felt like anymore.

But he does care about him. He cares about him in the way that he cares for all of his teammates and feels personally responsible for them. Even if this month was just a charade, with deceit and lies on both sides... he's still looking out for him. He's still making sure he's not over-extending himself, still checking up on him, still reaching out no matter how many times he gets pushed away.

He realizes he might have done horrible things. He's awfully secretive and he plans on killing Akira, after all. Who's to say he doesn't have blood on his hands already?

But maybe that's all the more reason he should fight to help him.

He's been hit out of the way by his friends before. They insisted he shouldn't do the same. He's the leader, after all, and they rely on him for orders and battle tactics. Begrudgingly, he agreed, even if he hated it, but this time...

Man, Ziodyne sucks like hell when you're weak to it. He knew that and he still... jumped in anyway.
