stage v; the hardest of cores - blizzards, snowstorms, you name it.

scenarios;

① fuck the police, this is the best time for a walk. hope you've got a nice thick coat on.

② stranded in the buttcrack of nowheresville? weren't you watching the time? now you've gone and missed that last bus out of there. or maybe you're lost, somehow. what do?

③ literally chilling, in this weather, is quite easy to do. sitting around relaxing in it is a wee more difficult, but sometimes much more enjoyable, especially if shelter can be found. the snow is beautiful to watch, after all.

④ the weather's not going to stop you. your snow fort's packed full of ammo and ready to go. those aren't snow angels over there; they mark where the poor souls you've downed have fallen. be careful with that snowman's head!!

⑤ you're about fifty miles from civilization but there's a roof over your head, so never mind the chilly draught, right? right. you mightn't be the only one lucky enough to stumble upon this little shelter, though. remember to share the blanket.

⑥ everyone stuck outside should be jelly. you've got a fireplace and hot cocoa and damn if it isn't awesome. a heater's not quite so romantic, but it'd do. there'd better be a backup generator in case the power trips.

[ Somewhere along the way, Dewdrop took a wrong turn, though she can't really make herself call it wrong when it has led her to somewhere so right, so beautiful, so glittering, look at those snowflakes, look how they dance! The human world is an enchanting one, after all, when sprinkled with snow, like a giant sugar-coated cake, like the cake houses of Gingerbread Village back home. The outskirts of the forest is a dark shape against the almost luminescent, sunset sky from which the snow is falling gently still, oh, one should have been a snowflake, they have no care in the world! Dewdrop, on the other hand, has no time for wrong turns, has no time to lose herself in the snowfall, for she has been sent by the Sugar Plum Fairy to bring back Marie to their realm, the Mouse King is threatening the Land of Sweet's sovereignty, he is waiting at their borders, the bandit! At the moment, however, she isn't sure where she is at all, she might have passed Marie's house on the way or she might have crossed over into another world entirely, the snow makes everything look the same. Peaceful. Quiet. ]

"Sherlock, you promised you'd try this." John hummed as he laced up his skates. He smiled up at the man from his seat on the bench. It seemed like his partner was looking at him with a look of confusion and annoyance. He imagined that ice skating was the last thing Sherlock had in mind. John wanted to do something to celebrate the fact that they were going to have a white Christmas. It was only a light snow now, but soon, it would really get heavy. "Come on then. I'm sure you're a natural. There's a science behind it after all." He said trying to get him interested.
