I do have a comics & pop-culture blog that I've just started up though! That's on Tumblr. I post when I can.

Right now I'm crawling through an LP of the Heaven's Feel route in the VN because... Fandoms: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV), Star Wars (my favorite is the prequel movies and Clone Wars), Disney, Harry Potter, Xena, ATLA, Korra, and Tolkien are recurring favorites. The first two especially are primary fandoms right now. Once Upon a Time used to be up there until recently, so there are lingering feelings for that too.

I also enjoy anime (especially magical girl/fairytale things!), various superhero movies/shows, Veronica Mars, Pan's Labyrinth, space movies and fantasy movies in general. Love The Good Place, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin, and Lucifer in particular. For movies, Arrival, Stardust, The Mummy films with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz, Get Out, Interstellar, Winter Soldier, the various Thors, and Wonder Woman.

Hobbies/Interests: I sometimes read or play video games! Mostly visual novels, adventure games, and indie stuff. And write poetry.

Books tend to be fantasy, but I read poetry too. Currently it's Stacy Schiff's biography of Cleopatra. I love fairytales and mythology, as mentioned above, and seeing their adaptations. I like reading/watching feminist takes on pop culture.

I've made a few fanmixes! I'm starting to get into graphics, and maybe one day I'll learn to vid.

Characters you play: Mainly I play Buffy Summers theladylazarus, but once there were alwaystraveling Yvaine from Stardust and earthmagic Cassandra from the first Scorpion King movie. I've been wanting to bring those last two out a little more!

The Good Place is lovely! I was afraid at first the comedy might be too weird it'd be off-putting, but it's straddles funny without being too bizarre. Plus the cast is fantastic.

I was into Buffy back in high school when my best school friend introduced me and my best college friend had us binge it and Angel every weekend. I always had a soft spot for Kendra for as little screen time she had, even considered RPing her but was afraid of basically playing within the bigger expanse of the canon with canon mates so never did.

Hi, there! This kid here is from SW: Legends, but it's under the same umbrella, at least? I also have a Han Solo who's somewhat picky when it comes to tagging, he's Empire Strikes Back flavor (if that is even a thing).

Alas that I don't have Plurk or Discord, PM's are the surest way of messaging back and forth, but I just wanted to drop in and say that I have a plethora of Tolkien muses, mythology muses (mainly greek, but there's a lady!Loki in there, also) and a ton of original characters who are primarily fantasy but can be tweaked to fit whatever setting; I'm hella easy like that.

I'm not sure I can match the Buffster or the other two you mentioned, but I'm always up for plotting and discussing and hashing out all the things. If interested, please let me know! :)

Your Star Wars preferences are good preferences! Not that there are bad ones. But those are my favorites too. I love the messiness of the world in them, and the characters are the ones I feel closest to.

I've been meaning to start Castlevania. Mostly out of curiosity; I never played the games as a kid, but I'd heard of them. And hey, vampires. Not that I consume a lot of vampire media currently, but I'm fond of them.

I love HDM too! It's one of my favorite childhood series.

Content commonly posted: I'm a big feminist nerd, so that's the backbone of everything. I like insightful analysis of media. I like raving about characters fandom tends to neglect (female characters and POC especially) and discussing different and more inclusive reads of them (rarely do I love a character, especially a female/etc. one, without being able to read them queer, for example, and I love the game "your fav is neurodivergent" because, well, it's more likely than you think). I also really like analyzing and generally freaking out about costumes (as a person who currently works in optics I can tl;dr at you all day long about glasses especially). I don't get into RL a ton, but when I do it's usually quasi-activism regarding above themes (feminism, LGBTQIA* stuff, mental health, anti-racism, diversity in general, etc.) and/or deconstructing normal situations through my own (feminist, queer, neurodivergent) lens. And occasionally I just post things I think are funny (weird lines, in-jokes, obscure personal memes).
Fandoms: I'm stuck in Marvel, mostly the MCU, forever (repping largely supporting women because someone has to and I love them; repping AOS because someone has to and I love it, or at least most of it). I'm also stuck to Game of Thrones, though I'll also be quick to get into its flaws because it's done me and many others a lot of wrong. Also big into Sailor Moon, musicals, True Blood, Fury Road, anything Batwoman but especially Bombshells, and a smattering of other things.

I love Agents of Shield, though I've never been in the fandom properly. I marathoned it last year and caught up! Daisy, May, Elena, Jemma, and Mack <3 Sailor Moon was basically my first fandom; I'm still fond of it. And Fury Road! That movie made my summer when it came out. Game of Thrones is a recent discovery--I basically watched the show through others for years, so I knew everything, and just made myself go through all the difficult to watch things chanting "for Arya and Sansa and Cersei and Yara at the end of season six." Because that was what pushed me to start to watch. I actually love Brienne and Daenerys too, although the way Daenerys is elevated through brown people blocks me from getting fully into her.
