you are not alone. Perhaps it is a stranger lying next to you, perhaps
it's someone you know. It might be your significant other, or a one
night stand. The fact remains that you are in bed together, naked and
something happened.

[This was a mistake.

But how could Akira help himself? How could Akechi help himself? They were two stupid teenage boys, running on hormones and bad decisions, as teenagers usually did. It sure hadn't felt like a mistake last night. In fact, everything had felt... so uncannily right in a way that it really, well, had no right being. Everything about it was wrong, wrong, wrong.

But it felt so right that Akira forgot that.

So when he stirs this morning and awakens to the sight of the gorgeous detective, with his soft, brown hair spilling around him and his face genuinely soft, he forgets not to let his breath catch, for a few different reasons.

All his careful attempts at coaxing Akechi to open up more had resulted in nothing. Time was steadily running out, and somehow it had accumulated into... this. Into sex that had started on the edge of desperation and then somehow turned... softer than either of them had anticipated or had even meant...

Akira had caught a glimpse of something last night that was the real Akechi, behind all those masks. He was sure of it. The question was... could he get it to show up again, before he left?

Could Akira get through to him before their positions on the opposite sides of the battlefield were permanently established?]

Unfortunately for Derek, sleeping in was a little difficult especially when his body didn't really need it but he didn't want to leave Michael's side in their nest of messy sheets, blankets, and pillows just yet. He really should leave now that sunrise was bound to peak through the windows, be safe in his choice in returning to the lower levels of the castle until nightfall. Instead, he just pulls the thicker of the blankets over him to provide the necessary cover to not end up a crisp when morning arrives.

He can still feel the ache of what would have been bruises, bite marks, and claw marks on his skin even though they have long since healed, the still pink marks that were left behind are the only evidence they ever existed in the first place.

Derek shifts a little as he finds a comfortable position again as he drapes himself over Michael's chest, careful to leave none of his skin exposed to the path of any light. Now, he simply played the waiting game until Michael woke up, listening to the sound of his heartbeat as he closed his eyes once more.

And it actually is morning, because unlike some people, Iyami is a very important man with very important things to do! Besides, it's so much easier to swindle people before their coffee kicks in.

The first thing he's going to cheat someone out of today is this nice, toasty blanket. He isn't awake enough yet to understand who or why there's a warm body next to him, but it's clearly just another successful result of his charm and grace. He deserves the reward of good company by night and comfortable beds by morning! It's his, all his, and he's very intent on kicking his bedmate firmly in the back while trying to roll himself up in the sheets.]

[Realization caused her to spring up in the bed, reaching for the comforter to cover her front side as her back lied bare besides her bed head. The only saving grace they might have is that Sojiro was out of town and maybe she could get back home without him knowing that she didn't return home the night before.

She thought about waking up Akira, but if nothing else, she could just talk to him later about it and let him sleep. So she tried to climb out of his bed without waking him, but of course she's on the other side. She couldn't help but curse under her breath as she tried to carefully get out without waking him, but at this point, that would probably be difficult. She almost made it up until she slipped and landed on the floor.]
