Jackie sees Matt out of the corner of his eye, right as he ducks another punch. The Shadowkhan Matt kicks at isn't so easily fooled as the first and brings up an arm to block the kick.

Something about that stick tapping clicks with Jackie and he turns to see a coin machine with dried fish pellets in it right behind him. He quickly runs for it and gives the plastic thing a solid kick, sending the crunchy stuff scattering all over the ground. Now when the Shadowkhan take so much as a step, there's a crunch to betray their location. Meanwhile, Jackie now has an opportunistic short staff to use in his fight.

Brilliant idea, the sound of crunching practically leaps up off the pavement for Matt. The cane spins again, nearly hitting another ninja as they duck, the tip whistling past their head.

Now he was more certain where they were, the bad guys were realizing their fight was two fold. Matt can hold his own, despite his suit and tie. He does wish he had his nightsticks but the cane will have to do. His sticks were locked away with his costume. "Duck!" he calls out, tossing the cane sharply across the space to collide with a ninja that was sneaking up on Jackie. The cane clatters to the pavement as the ninja disappears. Matt ducks himself, the two attacking him ending up punching each other as he sweeps low to trip them.

Jackie doesn't question, dropping flat as the cane clatters next to him. He uses it alongside his crude weapon to trip up and drop the other ninja he'd been fighting. When Matt drops the other two it leaves them alone in a mess of fish food. Jackie does a kip-up, the motion effortless for him as he brushes off the fish food and doesn't even think as he offers a hand out to Matt.

"Here, thanks for the cane. I'm very sorry about all of this." He should get moving soon, or the Shadowkhan will make Matt a target too. So long as they know Jackie has the talisman, they won't bother anyone else.
