Caught in the rain

It started out quietly, and then, quite suddenly, you're caught in a storm. Time to find cover. Nothing much to do but to wait it out.

Scenarios listed below for those who want 'em.

i WHERE:
001 PLAYGROUND - Well, you can try to hide under the slide or maybe in the jungle gym... at least you're some place fun?
002 PARK - Always happens, caught outside trying to take advantage of the weather... and it ends up pulling a fast one on you.
003 STORE FRONT - Better hope they have an awning you can take advantage of.
004 THE BEACH - Not exactly the best place to be during a rainstorm, however it is possible to get caught in a sudden storm.
005 WILD CARD - Anyway you want it.

ii HOW:
001 TREE - Not the best cover, but it'll have to do, stay close to the roots and you won't get too wet.
002 UMBRELLA - Most conventional... Kinda boring. But it works.
003 NEWSPAPER - Not permanent, but it'll have to do. Good luck.
004 BAG - Well... y'gotta do what you gotta do.
005 NONE - You know what. You're a rebel. You don't need cover. Screw convention.
006 WILD CARD - that's the way you need it.

iii WHY:
001 REJECTED - Welp. Rejection sucks. And no one will see you crying in the rain.
002 WAITING - For the bus? For someone else? For some revelation? What are you waiting for.
003 MELANCHOLY - Sometimes the best place to feel a bit down is out in the rain.
004 HAPPINESS - Is everything going your way? Are you singing a refrain while walking down the lane? Just singing. Singin' in the rain.
005 ANGER - WELL YOU KNOW WHAT. SCREW YOU TOO, RAIN.

Tsubomi couldn't help but sigh as she hid under this large tree. The rain was pouring down heavily and she still hoped that she could get to better shelter quickly. But, there were still people caught in the rain. Maybe she could wait just a little bit longer before she could make it somewhere safer and drier, not knowing she wasn't alone...

Rain was a good thing, at least if you asked Nakoruru. It was nature's way of cleansing and re-birthing itself, as well as supplying for its many residents, and so even if she had taken cover like everyone else, she was content to get a little wet as the water dropped through the branches of the tree.

She barely noticed the other girl coming to hide out as well, so entranced by the rain as she was, but felt her presence enough to turn and move around the trunk enough to see her, and smile as she spoke. "Oh, hello! Are you hiding out from the rain too?"

“Ah...! Y-yes, I am!” Tsubomi said, jumping just slightly. She sidn’t Expect to be talked to, but it was nice to have someone to do so! She returned the smile as she continued. “My name’s Tsubomi. And you are...?”

The intention hadn't been to scare the girl, but it seems she had still managed. Perhaps she was too used to walking quietly?

"Nakoruru. Nice to meet you, Tsubomi." She glances up a bit, as if trying to see past the leaves to the dark sky. "The rain came on faster than people thought today."

She’s more of an easily spooked girl, really. There’s nothing wrong with it and she would just brush it off.

“I agree, Nakoruru.” Tsubomi said. “I usually like the rain, but it’s more of I’m Prepared for it.” She chuckled a bit as she added. “At least my flowers will get some needed rain.”

"Mother nature never quite agrees with our plans." She smiles a little, backing up to lean against the tree. "But I agree. The flowers will be quite happy."

Tsubomi nodded before looking up at the tree the two were under. "I hope the leaves hold up a little longer. We might have to try to find better shelter at this rate..."

"It should be alright. I sense this tree has lived and acted as shelter quite a long time."

Tsubomi blinked at what she said. "R-Really? It has?" She can't help but look up at it in awe before looking at the girl. She could sense that sort of thing?

"Yes." Nakoruru giggles a little as she realizes what the girl is thinking, that look of awe she senses both for the tree and herself. "Nature and I understand each other very well. After all, I'm a priestess who serves Mother Nature herself."

“Wow, really?!” Tsubomi said. That makes her being a magical girl centered around a flower motif quaint! “That’s... so amazing! But... is it lonely?”
