DARING RESCUE MEME You're in a predicament. That predicament is either: you need to be rescued. Bad. Even if you're technically safe you need to get out of whatever situation you're in. And if you're not safe, well... it's just more important then, isn't it? Your other option of course is that you need to rescue someone. You have to find them, get them out, get them to where they really belong. Or you're like, picking them up from a bad date. WHATEVER. No matter the severity of the situation, be careful how you go about it, huh? We wouldn't want to have any accidents. • Top level your character. Include any details you might think are relevant. [ There are some straggler and likely people who are injured and in need of help elsewhere, but most of the administration building has started to evacuate before she even comes to. It's unclear what wakes her first -- the smoke filling up the room and how it chokes her when it hits her lungs or the cacophony of voices and sirens and a fire alarm ringing overhead so loud it almost drowns out everything else. It just all hits her at once and Lois jolts upright, coughing and gasping and--

It takes her a second to recognize her surroundings, another to find her equilibrium as she pulls herself on to her feet. There's something stuck in her throat that she can't seem to swallow and the ringing in her ears won't let up, even when she manages to get some distance between her and the alarm. She's like a newborn calf taking its first steps, making her way through the chaos left behind. Everything is in disarray. She can't see fire from where she is standing, but all the signs are there. The whole room looks like it has been hit with a bomb, and she's... she remembers... she was over there, wasn't she? She was standing at the photocopier, she was texting...

Clark.

There is something very physical about the way the panic grips her, causing her to stumble and curse her choice of impractical footwear. He was supposed to meet her, he was on his way, what if-- no, shut it down. She has absolutely no reason for her to believe that he was anywhere nearby when the-- okay, still not entirely sure what the fuck happened, but getting out takes priority. Getting out of the fiery death trap comes first, then she can find her guy. ]
