body heat meme

Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

Yes.
[It was a short and simple answer. He was magic. Magic had been a part of his whole life and he excelled in it, especially considering his age.]
no subject
He's also never met anyone literally magic. It's all about chakra and channelling it where he comes from. He blinks. ]
What, seriously? [ He exhales. ] That's really cool.. I guess that's how you got here, huh?
no subject
That is correct. The magic I used is considered forbidden, but I need to learn those spells if I want to become stronger.
[Jeile picked up the now fairly large cloak into his arms, the fabric overflowing. It would be enough to properly cover the both of them up now without a problem.]
This should be enough, right?

I don't get the point of stuff bein' forbidden, y'know. My best jutsu was forbidden too, before I learned it, an' I don't see a reason for it really. 'Cos like ya said, it made me stronger.
[ He's leaving out the part where his jutsu would probably kill a normal person if they used it to the extent that he does.... but in his defence he's probably forgotten that. ]

[That was not to say that harmless spells could not be dangerous as well if used incorrectly, or like him combining them into something new. The spell he had created just a few weeks ago was considered a forbidden one.
Jeile shifted a bit closer to Naruto, even if they now could keep a themselves a bit apart. The warmth of being close to another however was much more important here.]
Then we have the spells that are simply considered too advanced for my age, that I will have to wait for before I will get the permission to learn them.

Though I guess.. usin' up as much chakra as I do could be bad. An' I guess there's plenty of ways other people could use it in bad ways.. [ His voice turns to a murmur, and then to silence before he looks back at Jeile. ]
How old are ya, anyways?

[Dangerous for most, but not him. Jeile could recognize parts of that within himself. Sure he could get harmed by a spell just like any other, but he did have a certain eye for magic. It came so easily to him. Well the understanding of it at least. He still had to study.]
I'm thirteen.

[ He smiles warmly, ducking his head into his shoulders to stave off the cold chill creeping from under the door, threatening to make his ears cold. ]
Not that ya need it, if you can do magic and stuff.
no subject
You are only sixteen? That is still too young for advanced magic studies back home.
[Jeile felt a bit impressed over that someone so young held such confidence in their skills. This world and his own must differ quite a bit. It was interesting and he certainly would have nothing against learning more.]
Ah, I will do my best holding my own if it would come to it.
...Are times uneasy here?

[ He roots in his pocket, then digs out and unfolds a small map of the shinobi islands, passing it to Jeile. ]
You're in the middle of a shinobi village, y'know. It's kinda uninhabited now, since everyone moved to the hidden villages, but thugs an' bandits an' people like that still wander through. That's why I was gonna smack ya when you came in!
[ He says it so brightly, laughing even, making it clear that he might be young but he's no stranger to violence. ]
no subject
Um, you might want to explain a few words to me. Like ninja, genin, Hokage and shinobi. It is nothing I'm familiar with.
no subject
Duh, I keep forgettin' you're not from around here. Okay. A ninja is what I am, we do missions and stuff for people who need us, we're like soldiers, y'know. A genin is what I am too, it means I graduated from the ninja academy.
[ He's not going to mention that being a genin means he's failed to pass the graduation tasks in order to progress through the ranks. Jeile doesn't need to know that. ]
A shinobi is just another word for a ninja, y'know, an' the Hokage is the strongest shinobi in a ninja village!
no subject
[Jeile listened and nodded in understanding. Everything was becoming a lot clearer to him.]
So a ninja and shinobi is the same thing, a type of solider and genin is a rank you can have. Is that about right? And would the Hokage be more of an army commander or a ruler?
no subject
Uhh, yeah, I think so! [ He nods. ] An' I'm gonna be the Hokage one day. I'm already super powerful, y'know. I just need to get stronger.
[ He shifts back. ]
Do ya have anything like ninja in your world?
no subject
[Jeile gave a warm smile. Naruto seemed to be very friendly and have a lot of energy, he would be a great person to hold such a position as Hokage.]
We have different types of soldiers. Perhaps the combat trained mages would be similar to ninja. They are our most elite force after all.
